Bruh, people dont seem to get this: noone cares asmon accepts gold. That's not the main issue. The main issue is that in him doing so he's fucked over esfand and mcconnell. Yeah I get that he can play the game however he wants to, but backing out of a deal you've made with like one of your all time best friends isn't really something positive now is it. Try to look at it from mcconnells perspective for a sec, you and your friend have been hyping this thing up for years, now its finally here, you're going to struggle through the levels together and obtain mounts together and shit. Then, last minute, he backs out and breaks your deal.

I don't understand why streamers/ youtubers are not allowed to play the game they want to play it. I understand deals should be followed and I really do get that. However, why aren't we able to change our minds? My preferred method of making gold was farming and selling pets along with shuffles. When I started covering routes. I now prefer to my gold by route farming materials. I didn't tell my viewers I was only going to stick to pet farming and shuffles. I mean, I created this channel for routes. Though, if a deal negatively affects someone then they probably shouldn't stick to it. I also understand making a deal to not accept gold from other players in classic won't affect asmon in anyway. But I mean, that going to happen. He is large, he is going to get people requesting to give him gold. I don't watch a lot of his content but from what I see he is just a streamers trying his best to support his fan base. They don't own him and he doesn't own his fan base. He is his own person, and his fan base, they are their own people. If that enjoy giving him gold just for the hell of giving him gold. Who care? He is making thousands a day I can assume. People are giving him real money to subscribe to him on twitch but no one is batting an eye at that? so how is it any different from being given gold in classic?
