Pigeons are the only birds I've come across that don't leave gifts after I have nursed them back to health. Others like Raucous Honeyeaters, Black and white Mudlarks, etc... leave insects, worms, etc...

My mother would prepare extra food for them, and when they came, she would throw it upwards in the sky and they would dive and catch it, eat it and then stay in our garden for some time. They were very chill, sadly we had to shift homes and I've never seen them since

On the other hand, if you do something bad to a crow, like throwing something at it or simply scaring it away, that crow will tell the others that you're a not-so-cool dude, and all of them will kinda "hold a grudge" against you, and that grudge can even be passed to the future generations.
