I am disgusted how anybody can rejoice in the death of Rolf Harris. The guy making the comment using the song Two little boys against Rolf Harris is willfully ignorant assuming Rolf Harris wrote that song when in actual fact it's an old music hall song. I'm amazed at how people can be so insensitive and be proud of the fact they hate someone.

Harris croaked? Lol. First the queen, now him. Not a bad year.

As someone with a deep distrust of the press and media, I don’t know whether Rolf was a pedophile, or not. What I do know that, as a child of the 60’s and 70’s, I have lots of fond memories of a unique entertainer. Rest in peace, Rolf Harris.

When you look at Rolf’s first trial in detail, there’s a lot to mistrust about it. The most glaring flaw is that he was found guilty of assaulting a seven or eight-year old girl whom he’d never met, and this supposedly occurred at a location which it was proved he’d never been to! In fact, the complainant’s stepfather had told the police investigators before the trial that he’d no memory of Rolf ever having visited Leigh Park community centre near Portsmouth, and he would never have let his stepdaughter , Wendy Rosher, née Wild , go there by herself at such a young age. This info was gathered by the private detectives Rolf later employed, plus the fact that the police had failed to take a signed statement of the stepfather’s testimony. Also, none of the local residents questioned by the private investigators had any memory of Rolf having visited either - he’d simply never been there! As a result of this new evidence, which the police had failed to obtain themselves, presumably because they weren’t keen on finding anything which showed Rolf’s innocence, the charge of assaulting a child was overturned at the Court of Appeal. The detectives employed by Rolf also conducted a thorough investigation of all the charges at his second and third trials, which the police had failed to do themselves, and Rolf was acquitted as a result. All these details, and more besides, are available in a book about the trials from the head of the private detectives Rolf employed. It’s a very worthwhile read!

As kid, my Mum never allowed us to watch him on TV this was in the 70s. I didnt understand what he was singing about until i got older! Mum always said he was disgusting way before he was outed in the media. Just today she said he will be hell for eternity! Shame how the media glorifies pedos!

I am always saddened when a great entertainer and loved public figure falls from grace. We all have admirable qualities and flaws and in some people both are very extreme. I thought RH was wonderful and I'm sad that his dark side ruined his last years, and the years of people he abused (allegedly?) RIP now anyway.
