guys I am HURTINGGGG! and I have too many thoughts for my own good. What'd you think of this quest? what are your lore thoughts?

Back when we reunited with them, they were cold and just told you to continue your journey. But here they opened up big time, talking hugs, missing you and stuff - all because they knew that you'd forget everything said. Makes it seem like they're just playing a role that they shouldn't break, not unlike Furina."

As for that person’s Irminsul file linking analogy, there’s a major flaw in that Irminsul will invent a file to replace it if it is missing, so it’s not quite the same as what a video editor would do if a linked video file was missing.

Nah. Cause us not being able to remember actually pissed me off so bad. The picture at the end just BARELY saved the quest for me. But, amazing story telling of course. I enjoy these Dain quests.

This Archon quest gives so much information in such a very short time and that's imprissive to be honest. Now that we know how Khanriah fell from the cataclysm and who caused it which is surreal thing to experience, were Dainslief's brother (the chained crystal), Surtalogi, Gold, and the other two sinners; additionally, we now know that the Heavenly principles is still on standby despite of the Hydro archon, Focalor broke the rules which makes me wonder. Will the Unknown God only be awaken if both of the siblings united or is it something else which is a bit concerning.

I have a cracked theory that Dain might have some sort of split personality. Some things he speaks are kinda contradictory. Ie: -He reassures us we can mend our relationship with our sibling. In the past he was always cautious when talking to us. -In the animated short he never seems to comfort the abyss twin at all during their travels. At the very end when he puts his hands on their shoulders, the twin is seen to be visibly angry at him as if he's pressuring her to continue. It doesn't seem to add up to the line he said at the end of the travail trailer. Some other sus things that happened: 1) When we woke up, Paimon seems not as attached to us as in previous occasions and she seemed to know we were talking to caribert despite not being in the scene herself. 2) Why did Dain randomly glitch at the point when he was talking about the sinners? 3) In the domain the statue is similar to the ones found in the caribert part 1 domain. Any correlations here? 4) "older brother" implies that if Dain was the same blood as his brother that he could've also potentially became a sinner? This was also when I thought about the possibility of a split personality that maybe Dain was also a sinner then something happened to him.

I jumped when I saw the "Traveller using 2 different names" theory got confirmed. At first it was just speculation based on how Lumine called him in the "We Will be Reunited" quest, nobody in the game ever talked about it either so it's kinda weird. Like, why would he use 2 different names?, what is he hiding? (Yes I'm using Aether). But that aside, I'm SO glad that we finally have this type of story quest, FINALLY, something that can make me feel something about the Traveller as a character, FINALLY we get to see him expresses what he think and feel instead of getting overshadowed by Paimon yapping every 5 second. Them simply talking hit pretty hard because when they sit around like that it finally occurred to me how long he's been doing this and how we as a player saw him wandering around Teyvat to look for his sister, and now it's finally happening. But then it got taken away again, which makes it hurt even more. 😂 I can already see it, the ending of this game will play our heartstrings like a damn fiddle, and I'm all here for it.

atossa would have the most husband of all time if that was not the situation of caribert... sigh think if it was different and these two meet somewhere and just connects

man caribert did most of the emotional damage , his story and how he faded peacefully also taking a photo for the siblings asking them to get along , Ugh 😣.

I cried 🥺 and the ost during the cutscene is so emotional. I need hoyo to release the ost please. This is why we can't have nice things... cuz hoyo will kill the characters and make us cry😭

Maybe just me but I think the Heavenly Principles will awaken after we explored Khaenri'ah and possibly have to fight the gods if they turn against us and maybe Paimon might travel with us or turn against us who knows, there was a lot and I am pretty slow at picking information up so quickly haha 😂, though I bet why we had our small conversations erased was because we might know what she will talk about in the later updates.

They only just got the Loom of Fate to a point where it can affect ley lines and they still don't know how to. If they could write the sibling in from a future point, they could also just change the entire past from a future point as well, and they clearly haven't done that. Remember, sibling also isn't a Descender. They are considered native to the planet, and I highly doubt that was the Loom of Fate. I have my own theories that are getting more and more supported as the story goes but too long to get into. All I'll say is this... miHoYo loves the concept of Samsara, and always has since the very first Honkai game.

I noticed that if you play as Aether, in the picture, Aether has his arms crossed and Lumine does the same pose or has her arms crossed or something

I really hate celestia and the heavenly principles. It makes me wonder if the abyss prince/ss was also cursed by the heavenly principle and that curse was to never be able to reunite with our sibling. What if the curse is connected to irminsul and by destroying it, the curse of wilderness (becoming a hilichurl) will be remove and that includes the curse of abyss prince/ss. The loom of fate will be used to create a new tree and so the traveller will be able to reweave the “fate”. Also I just noticed that what happened in khaenri’ah where the sudden appearance of forbidden knowledge which is the cause of caticlysm gives a perfect excuse for the heavenly principle to perform genocide. Khaenri’ah being an underground civilization, it’s possible they are the descendant of the primordial one and they want to remove any traces of that civilization. But then again I think this will have no sense if the heavenly principles is the primordial one.

Seen a lot of people's reaction to Dain saying "just as I suspected" as if that doesn't mean you telling him wouldn't matter, the reason we didn't tell him is because with our guess that would mean they were following us, so telling him could give us away.

Can u imagine if someday, the hilichurls actually do stay calm in the main world. And hell, maybe in the end, we fight along side hilichurl as an army against celestial.

İt was emotional but didnt like the ending for me it ruins it when traveler forgets about it but poor Caribert of course and he looks handsome

honestly, I felt pretty disappointed. Such an important lore drop and also their meeting/ conversation... in such a short time.
