In this week’s video, we're drying off cows. Fifty days prior to calving, we stop milking our cows in preparation for their next lactation.

It's difficult for me to give an accurate answer, we haven't built anything since 2020 and construction cost has increased significantly since then.

We're milking 1600 cows, in total we have about 2900 cows, heifers and calves on the farm.

Hi Piet. Look at all those Moo Cows !!! The Moo Cow process sounds very tedious. A bit like Abbott and Costello "Who's on First, What's on Second, and I Don't Know's on Third !!" See I am dating myself there. I'm glad your system works as well as it does, keeping a handle on all those Moo Cows is a Full Time Job and takes many hours of the day. he he he he

The cows are averaging 89 pounds of milk per day at the moment.

Do you sell the a2a2 milk separately or what is the reason for separating the cows?

My sister started bottling a2a2 milk from our cows in her creamery. We have 2 pens that consist of only a2a2 cows, which we can milk into a clean tank when they need to pick up milk.
