Yeah, I like early morning shifts because I don't deal with all the stuff in the afternoon. Been doing it for almost 2 years, might go somewhere else though, eventually

I just put it on the backstock wheeler we have. or if we usually don't get a certain product, i extend the tags a little bit and just empty the rest of the box I'm stocking@@user-qi8lt3mt8l

I was literally thinking that. I might do it tmrw. thank you for the suggestion! For produce, I don't work in that department. I work grocery, Bakery and dairy mainly. Also front end shit but I can't really film that, for obvious reasons lol. I'm also working frozen next week so might upload some of that as well

Store #1448 use milk crates for your back stock makes it easie

The big difference between Acme and Walmart… Walmart doesn’t do partials, also they have more room for their spots 🙂

Partials? I'm not familiar with those terms lol. All I know is we haven't had a reset or remodel of the entire store so I just have put what I can out, if that's what u were referring to

@@cakemix8650 oh ok. I mean we usually just set aside whatever doesnt go out and just collect it all. Usually takes about 4 hrs to complete both sides. It's cold in the aisle so we use that to our advantage lol

@@rgtmoto I’m a frozen Manager! I ve seen people leave out for along time at Walmart! I work at Acme now and I’m pretty cautious about leaving stuff out for awhile especially ice cream.

@@cakemix8650 I totally get that. Yeah the manager hasnt said anything to me about it, we usually get done in around 5-6 hrs depending on the freight. Avg we get like 7-10 boards. Idk if that's a slow pace but

Dont do it for a long time. I've been doing it for 3 years, it's a good job besides all the other crap they have u do. They make u they're slave so be ready for that. It took me about 2 weeks to get familiar with everything

I'm a manager now but it still happens even when I have to manage the dairy department so u can't really win in that regard. It's an ok job

@@garylasseter2978 i rotate because it's habit for stocking, especially as a manager. If the item doesn't sell I do, if it sells I don't as much.

It's not about going faster. It is about keeping your shelf stock in date and that's exactly what rotating is. You don't rotate and old stock is still on the shelf a customer may grab that one item and they can get sick. Boom. You have a lawsuit on your hands. Not only that human resources will have to be involved in this, and it will all turn into a huge issue for everyone. Let's say there isn't any lawsuit. A food inspector comes in and walks the departments with an upper manager and they find old stock on the shelves. That department is held liable for that and knocks points from that department. That will also create an issue for that department, the department manager and the store manager and the DM. Rotating is very important when it comes to stocking food.
