Nice vid. Reminds me of my time doing this for years back in the day. Once in a while you knock something off and have some epic superhuman reflex save (most satisfying when it's a glass bottle or something and you don't want to have to clean that mess).

Yo love what you are doing bro. I work for smart and final on the west coast and I am everywhere. Im the meat department lead, I work dairy, freezer, grocery, unload trucks and cashier on the side when cashiers aren’t scheduled accordingly. It’s tough job but I love it either way. It helps keep me motivated and going. Keep going with the videos. Much love ❤❤

I appreciate the kind words. I actually got asked to be the dairy manager so I might become that soon which is exciting. I'll go up from 16 to 25 an hr so that's the whole reason I chose it lol

It’s tough work man without a doubt. I stick around because of the morale. If I didn’t have a solid morale, I wouldn’t be there to this day. I’m well loved where I’m at which is huge in todays world. I have a work family basically which I love and see them more than my real family and friends which sucks but it’s not too bad. I see family and friends on my off time so it’s not too bad. 👍

Forgot too mention my store sells already cut beef cuts and pork cuts in crates which I order which saves lots of time 😂😂

brings back memories of the time i did dairy also. started off as a night stocker, then did dairy to cover the other guy day off/ vacations, and then they had me do the same for the frozen department guy, but i left to be a merchandiser for 7up instead, i liked the job but i wanted more hours, and the option to do OTs, and safeway only hire you as part time, so you dont get 40 hours only maybe at best on holiday week maybe they’ll give you 38 hours. there were alot of favoritism where i worked at, if the managers like your, theyll give you 40 hours. the other way to get 40 hours is to be one of the department managers, if not youre just a part time, and your hours will be cut as log as 24 hrs. sucks but thats how safeway is, thats why i left.

Ik I'm so ocd when it comes to it but I just don't care that much anymore. Takes too much time, I got other freight to do 😂. I became the dairy manager recently so my priorities have changed 😂

Man, I hated dairy sooo much. Mainly cause of those crack n egg, cream cheese, butter and single yogurts. I use to this back when Walmart was opened 24/7 or at least here in Ohio they're no longer open 24/7. Especially sucked doing freezer and dairy. Between the 2nd and then 25th-31st of every month cause the folks with food stamps and or SSI money would hit. So had to fight with the traffic. Which not hating on them folks. Just sucked when you're trying to stock the products and have people kicking or moving boxes or asking you 100 questions. I enjoyed the can goods and freezer when we wasn't busy during the nights. But I miss doing this job. Just put my headphones in and just vibe. Till about 6am-7am when customers started coming in.

It's an ok job. Except when the managers use u to they're advantage and don't hire anyone else. I'm going to meat department with my brother pretty soon so they can suffer lol
