Daiso AA powerbank - Cheap Portable Power Supply for Small Arduino Projects

Күн бұрынThis is a $2 Powerbank that I bought from Daiso Singapore. This is not so good for charging phones, but it is awesome for powering up small Arduino projects and other low consumption devices reliably via USB.

Oh no, these typical China made powerbank do have a switch and also a small LED light (not very bright but still). I don't know why they removed it in this model. Here is a youtube video about this type of powerbank (not my video btw, the music is annoying lol).

I just finished your whole video, this is so weird. These AA powerbank typically have plenty of space to remove the batteries (I can put all kind of "bigger" AA battery in there and remove them without any problems), also there is no "wall" to separate the batteries like this one either.

I used to have that version with a barely usable LED and switch. It seems that Daiso decided to remove those. My old version also didn’t have the separator that made it difficult to remove. Nonetheless, I snipped off the separator. For SGD$2, I suppose I can’t complain much. Cheers!
