Donald and Daisy’s relationship in Ducktales 2017 is way healthier than other Donald and Daisy relationships in Disney. I feel they could get married and living together. Donsy forever.

I love this version of Daisy, and I feel like this is one of the few versions of her and Donald's relationship that isn't super toxic.

Tress MacNeille is indeed a voice acting legend. She was the voice of Dot Warner, Babs Bunny, basically every female lawyer or businessperson in the history of the Simpsons, a bunch of characters in Futurama...and the list goes on!

Donalds voice change in the song was something everyone really liked back when it aired, but was also gave some debate, because it can't be what Daisy's actually hearing right? So I think the conclusion is that it just resembles that she finds him attractive & understand him, both literally and figuratively (as shown they have a lot in common). Also kinda a nod to Donald with the Don Cheadle voice, as only then we and the other characters see how cool Donald is. But Daisy just sees that the whole time. Although I believe the co-producer once said that Della can also fully understand, but don't know for sure. And maybe he mentioned Scrooge too? The fact that Daisy understands him, is probably also a reference to the classic short 'Daisy's Dilemma'. Donald gets hit with a vase on his head, resulting in him getting an understandeable voice. Daisy's design is actually pretty much the same as in the cartoon 'Donalds Diary'.

Parcival P. Peppington is the DuckTales universe's version of Willy Wonka. He's the eccentric CEO and creator of the Pep soda brand in the show. And he first appeared in Happy Birthday, Doofus Drake! I knew you'd love this episode! Daisy has always been my least favorite of the Sensational Six, but this version might change that. I love this version, and her relationship with Donald is so healthy!! Hear My Voice was of course a highlight and Donald's voice during the song is just how Daisy hears him, and I love that. An Ocean's Eleven parody is also _always_ fun! Heist parodies are a special breed. And with the amount of lovable characters they crammed into this one, it's great! If you've been tracking Mark Beaks's family history, his mom is this famous diva lady, Emma Glamour, and his dad was a coach who hated Mark's lack of coordination and him being a dweeb. So... explains a lot about Mark, actually. The way this seems, maybe Mark's parents are divorced, we don't know that one for sure. Lastly, any guns that don't shoot actual, visible bullets are allowed in the show. Guns that look like they could fire bullets are a no-no in this series. I say actual _visible_ bullets, because there's a straight-up machine gun in next episode, but it gets by because you can't actually see the bullets.

This is the best version of Daisy and Donald I have seen. Most other iterations of them have been extremely toxic, if not abusive. DT17 did a fantastic job being Daisy in

The singing voice we hear is how Daisy sees Donald. She says that she understood him and his voice and that’s how she hears him.

I've never been a fan of... "Donsy", I suppose. I always found them too toxic and borderline annoying in almost every depiction of them. But, because DuckTales 2017 is a perfect reboot, they rebooted Daisy so perfectly that not only is she one of my favorite characters in the whole show, I am for once invested in the "Donsy" ship. This is, in my mind, the definitive version of the relationship. Regardless of what Disney says going forward.

The relationship really is hit o miss in the comics, some comics it is great, some is bad, and others is outright toxic, as you say, i think it really depends on the writer.

I really love this whole season. Season one had it's moments and season two was consistantly really good, but neither of them ever quite reach the highest peaks of season three. I can't wait to see you react to the rest of the series!

As many people have commented already this is one of very few iterations of Daisy and Donalds relationship that isn't super toxic. It's really cool how they managed to establish Daisy as the perfect love interest for Donald in so little screen time. Also the voice Daisy hears from Donald is the same one he had in the season one finale when gyro gave him a voice modulator. You can totally see how beaks ended up so obsessed with fame and attention. Honestly kind of sad.

they are a wonderfull couple in this version. also the animation here is great but the animation in the finale just blew thier budget. the other voice in the song that donald was singing to daisy was how daisy hear donald when he sings maybe talk and they are cute daisy and donald here. and thanks i didnt understood for a minute that they just want thier voices to be heard by someone mostly donald and dewey and its so awsome this show have way to much budget and its awsome

Hey man. I just wanna apologize for last week’s fiasco. I just didn’t think you had it in you to find a DuckTales episode outright bad, especially since, without giving anything away, the ending to that episode which shall remain nameless will be important for the finale. You’ll have to find out how and why for yourself, though; I know you don’t like spoilers. At the end of the day, I’m glad you’re still continuing with your reactions to this show despite said unnamed episode. However, I hate to be all “I told you so,” but yeah, I *did* warn you season 3 was of a lesser quality so you get what you give

The idea behind it was also that there are real people (also kids) dealing with gun violence, so they didn't want to make it uncomfortable for them. That's why you won't see any guns in the show, although you could say the Moonlanders are an exception. But at least not guns that closely resemble real ones and have actual bullets.
