Is or can nail art be done with gel polish? Or what is generally used? Ive seen someone on YT use acrylic paint?

all of the nail art I do is done by gel polish, and it requires UV light to cure, I find it easier to draw when you know that each layer/step is cured (dry) before the next one, so you don't have to start over if you make an error

@@GinaLovesNails thanks so much for your reply. I usually cure color for 60 sec and base and top for 120 sec. Does each layer need such a lengthly cure or is a fast cure acceptable? How long do you recommend?

the cure time depends on your polish, are you using the same brand I have in my link? if yes, I usually do 30 seconds

You make it look so easy and pretty! I did my nails like this once and I thought it looked okay, then I went to school and my friend said “ Oh my god! What happened to your nails? This is the worst they’ve ever looked!” I just love her for that tho because she was honest with me.
