Are the 5 and 6000 size out yet anywhere? Im in USA but will purchase one from you if you have them. Also does your shop have any older saltigas like the Australian red/silver extreme S or older mavericks and any older expeditions with the aluminum drag knobs...

Beautiful reel! But my only issue with Daiwa and I love Daiwa gear! is that Daiwa does not sell the tool to open the reel and doesn't sell the mag-seal fluid .... I think this is just crazy that I can't service my own reel. Fine if you live in Aus were im from originally but when you live out on small islands off the coast of Africa indian ocean it's not viable when your fishing 3/4 times a week , offshore and Inshore. Unfortunately I'm using Shimanos and a slammer IV and they are awesome but can't justify getting a mag-sealed reel and MQ body if can't service it myself. What's your opinion mate, do you think they will release that stuff to the public?

Hi John. You can service this reel yourself when in your situation. Both the tool and alternative mag oil are available aftermarket products online with a little research.

@@TackleWestthankyou for the response mate 🤙A aftermarket tool fair enough, but getting Ferro fluid off eBay or Amazon seems a little sketchy for expensive reels. Look I'm probably a worry wort and it be fine but wish Daiwa would just sell to the public and no issues... Again thankyou for you time , plan on coming to your shop next year 🎣

Hi. I would love to be given this reel to test here in South Africa. I'm a huge diawa fan...had my BG gor 20 yrs....no issues...fished hard & caught tons of fish
