@Fishing With PICKEREL HUNTER your comment about the drag being greatly improved on the LT is correct. Honestly when they came out w/ the prior gen. RG I wondered how they could improve. I think the LT's hold less line (smaller spools). I'm looking forward to your best video.

😁👍 Awesome! Largest bass I got here was almost 7LB that's pretty nice for NJ in the hotter states they grow larger See my channel page it's the bass on the right side of the picture it 's mouth was so huge when I made a fist my hand fit easy inside it and had plenty room for me to move it all around side to side.

Just wondering if the handle is like the Daiwa exceler or BG where it has a screw already fixed in the spool and all you have to do is just screw in the handle OR does it have one of those shit hexagonal handles where you have to tighten the handle brake on the other side to fix the handle in place.
@PHFishingBiking5 жыл бұрын
Hi these use the hex shaft screw in from opposite side types. Thanks for watching.

Is this reel (the 3000 D-C version) also suitable for carp fishing on the surface and float fishing?
@PHFishingBiking3 жыл бұрын
Hi for carp I would go with the larger size in the daiwa reels like 4000 size or higher.
@larsjansen89553 жыл бұрын
@@PHFishingBiking And why you will go for the larger size? More line or something else?
@PHFishingBiking3 жыл бұрын
@@larsjansen8955 Carp are big strong fish big fish bigger reels, you can use a smaller reel but the larger diameter spools are better for casting and heaver lines. 👍
@OOGAsmooth2 жыл бұрын
while fishing at least 3+ times, I end up having loops form, then I have to sit there and pull the line out until it comes out. Why is this? Have you had this issue with yours? I have the 2500 version
@PHFishingBiking2 жыл бұрын
Hi no problems at all.. the way to not get loops is cast then manually flip the bail by hand and then pull on the line in front of the reel outward a bit and then start reeling...main reason you get the loop tangles with spinning is from not manually flipping the bail over by hand and just cranking it over by reeling. watch some of my fishing videos you will see how I do it. Hope this helps.
@OOGAsmooth2 жыл бұрын
@@PHFishingBiking Ive always done it manually.. so im not sure
@PHFishingBiking2 жыл бұрын
@@OOGAsmooth Hi it could be the line what are you using? also it could be you need to adjust the spool to wind the line on differently by adding or subtracting the small plastic washers they give you to put on the spool shaft behind the spool. if the line winds on the spool not flat on it lets say more line to the back of the spool you would need to put less or a thinner washer on the reels spool shaft to correct it and if the line winds more to the front of the spool you would need to ad a thicker washer on the spool shaft to correct it to make the line lay flat across the spool. Hope this helps.

Fishing With PH I’m just looking at ultra lite reels and I got this one in mind and the shimano Sahara in mind. 🤔
@PHFishingBiking4 жыл бұрын
@@l.o.r410 Hi I like shimano best but the daiwa regal lt is a great reel also. Shimano to me has a better line management system the line roller on the shimano is larger and for me I find the line gets less twists and last longer with the shimano reels..If you use braid it won't matter to much but normal line I find shimano is best. If you looking at the Shimano Sahara FI Spinning Reel I would say get this one over the Daiwa regal lt.
@l.o.r4104 жыл бұрын
Fishing With PH Yes! I appreciate your suggestion. I’m wondering if I should get the 500 size or the 1000. Probably just need a reel for crappie fishing and stock trouts. Help?
@PHFishingBiking4 жыл бұрын
@@l.o.r410 Hi I would go with the shimano and the 1000 size I use the 1000 size and use it for bass fishing also it's a small reel that you can use for many types of fish. But if you are only using it on pan fish you can probably use the 500 but I would not use that for bass or anything.

would you recommend this reel for saltwater fishing?
@PHFishingBiking3 жыл бұрын
Hi I don't really fish salt water, That said a big size in this model should be able to handle it just make sure tp clean off any salt off the reel when your finished fishing and rinse water over the line roller and then re lube it with a corrosion fighting oil like corrosionX reelX reel bearing lube.
