Nice to see you like it. I am getting the same exact reel gear ratio and everything except it is the left hand model and it is the JDM version which is getting shipped overseas. Only is some cosmetic coloring on some of the metal on the reel. For my rod I am getting a Phenix Feather which is one of the lightest rods I could find on the market. So overall it is gonna be one light setup.

Daiwa make fantastic reels. Very solid and durable.

Mine are set at six and seven! No thumbing no back lash. 1/8 to 1/4 oz weight.

I have the mojo bass 7'1" MEDIUM with the tatula sv tw103xs 2017 model the purple accents go nice with the rod 😀 j/k the review I seen with Oklahoma worst fishing is the reason I went with the 2017 model.

I have the exact reel in left hand 8.1-1 and I find never go lower that 5 on the breaks, I believe 4 and lower on that particular reel is free spool. I love my reel. Sold my Curado DC to buy it. The Curado DC was too heavy and bulky, it was smooth but I didn’t like the weight and the feel.

That has the zero adjuster, it's set from the factory your only supposed to adjust the brakes

I don’t like a 8.1:1 reel for jerkbaits . Because I feel like if I’m not careful I will retrieve my line to quick and work the bait with my reel.
