Almost the Expride Twin at a little higher price which again shows the value of the Expride, but, I can’t wait to hold one in hand and see and feel the New Zillion😜💯🍀🎣🍀

I have a couple old school Zillion rods that I got out of a clearance bin. Still some of my favorites. Not sure about the Expride comparison but I’m not a Shimano guy.

I think the last line I had came out in 2009. It was a fantastic, responsible, sensitive blank. Guides were good too. I also really liked the EVA foam that they used. My only gripe was the handle was a bit awkward for palming,but overall, a real good stick

I got a daiwa tatula xt spinning rod for my birthday and I think it's good enough for everything you'll ever need to do at a great price

Kind of looks like an upgraded Blazon rod. I still have one of the old Zillion rods, still going strong. :)

Brian, Do you know why Diawa discontinued the Rebellion line of rods so quickly? I bought the 7’4H glass and it was a pretty good rod for $200 but you never heard much about them as far as marketing goes. They were obviously made to compete with the Zodias and now the Zillions made to compete with the Expride which should be a tough line to compete with

The AGS version would just be the Steez AGS. Both have SVF nanoplus X45 blanks

For steez, no sense stepping down in the same models. They need a 7'5 med regular model to battle the javelin thats a little more parabolic than the javelin. Right now using the Tatula big topwater which isn't bad. Thinking about the Javelin but HookUP Tackle Ben said the tip is sorta faster on the Javelin for topwater.

@@PunchFishingthanks! I picked up the P5 version. Not sure if its faster than the previous but it's faster than I was hoping. Still parabolic down the blank, tho.. i think just as you say will be good for those uses. Maybe long range worm even.

Hopefully they compare to the Daiwa BLX rods. Phenomenally underrated rods. High cost but def underrated and not talked about enough

I love the BLX line also. The MLl & MHs are two of my favorite rods period. The ML limber is almost a BFS rod & can throw a 1/7(4g) ounce bait. The MH is my favorite Jig rod. I own NRX pluses, Megabass, Adrena's, etc. But these 2 stay in my lineup. They are that good. I will be curious about the Zillion. Thanks for the vid.

I am surprised you haven't mentioned the MB Orochi X10 lineup. (With biofiber). They are also appearing in the 2024 Ultimate-fishing catalogue.

Ok Brian you have my attention I am looking to buy a Casting Rod MH Fast and I was looking to St Croix Legend 7’3 MH Fast, Expride B 7’2 MH Fast or the New Zillion 7’3 MH Fast caught my attention what would you buy of the 3 Rods ? What and Why Thanks !

I got a Daiwa BLX Sensitive Graphite for Christmas, and I haven’t got a chance to fish it yet. Have u fished one and if so how do u feel it compares to a Shimano Expride B? Or how does it compare to a St. Croix or G. Loomis of a similar price? Anyone?

I can only tell that blx that i compared to my st croix legend tournament (not the latest model) felt noticeably crispier. I think they are great rods and i dont know why Daiwa didnt pushed more that series of rods.

I have a blx and 3 exprides, the models aren't really comparable because I have the 7'4 glass rod in the blx, but the Exprides do feel better, slimmer handle, better balance and better fit and finish. I imagine this rod will replace the BLX because that rod completely bombed in sales.

Zillion = an Expride C. Weight better be as good or better. I hope GLX gets a 916 UBR and bring back the GLX CBR’s

I think shimano zodias compared with daiwa blazon, and the shimano exprede b compared with Daiwa rebellion Daiwa zillion way better then shimano exprede

Boring, Expride knock-off, no JDM flair, and just another sad offering from Daiwa. They just want to be Shimano now. Remember the Alpha/Sol, PXR, Fuego? Now everything's black and silver. Daiwa was so much cooler in the 2000s.
