The bad conditions of the terrain due to the heavy rains of the last days forced the organization to suspend the day for motorcycles and quads.
The weather has been a factor in the 2023 Dakar Rally, which has made three route changes in the last two days. After modifying the route for the 3 previous stages and then establishing a semi-marathon stage for this Saturday and Sunday, the latest news is the cancellation of Stage 7 for motorcycles and quads.
"Given today's weather difficulties and the high level of fatigue observed among all the riders in the category, the Dakar organization has decided to cancel the seventh stage special between Riyadh and Al Dawadimi,"
