In this video I fit the Dakota Digital RTX Digital Instrument System 1969-1970
Dakota Digital: RTX-69F-MUS-X
in the 69 Mustang/ #thedisgustang
The Dakota Digital (RTX-69F-MUS-X) RTX Digital Instrument System is a new and improved gauge system that doesn’t abandon the stock appearance or the late model features you enjoy. The design of this system utilizes the OEM elements, found within the layout, appearance, and indicators. The LED backlighting and familiar color scheme are still present in this system.

Hey Lucky, I want to share a tip for restoring any sun yellowed plastic like the dash parts you are working on, a product called "Salon care 40 cream", you get it at a beauty supply store for less than five bucks. Brush it on the parts, seal in a clear plastic bag and place them in the sun for a couple of hours, then just rinse them off with clean water. The parts will look like brand new without scrubbing or sanding delicate parts. It worked great for me restoring a Bose wave radio among several other parts and covers. I know you hear a lot of crazy stuff on the net but this really works beyond belief.

I'm guessing it's got peroxide in it. A lot of the vintage computing people have similar problems with old computer cases turning yellow, and they use similar products to restore them.
