Through failures and struggles, Chase Briscoe tells us how he went from the dirt tracks of Indiana to the epicenter of stock car racing in Charlotte, NC. Sleeping on couches, volunteering on teams - Briscoe did what he could to get his name out there. Constantly knocking on doors and having chance meetings created an unimaginable opportunity for the young driver.

This is old school stuff. Volunteering and working hard to get a shot and making the most of it. As much as I thought Larson would get in that ride and as much as I wanted to see him in that ride, Chase deserves it more. Sad to say but its unheard of now that a kid with talent actually gets a shot and doesn't use mommy and daddys money to get there. He's gona be around for a while

Chase's dad Kevin Briscoe was an AMAZING 410 non wing sprint driver. Chase is still a small town humble kid too. I talked to him on iracing and told him how I grew up watching his dad at Lawernceburg and he thought it was the coolest thing that I grew up at the old 1/4 mile Lawernceburg track.

Watched his dad at Paragon in Bloomington and all the little short tracks here in Indiana for years. Was awesome to witness his father become a successful Sprint car driver and Chase in his footsteps. I can remember when Chase was just a little kid at the tracks. The whole family is a humble family. Just glad one of them got to make it to the big time although they would have been just as happy in a Sprint car.

I have been impressed by the humility that kids like Blaney and Chase Elliot have brought with them to NASCAR and I do believe Briscoe has them all beat. He is a good kid and has as much talent as any to come along in a few years. I am looking forward to watching him win a bunch of races. Make this old hippie proud Chase.

Ever since Jeff Gordon retired I've been looking for a new driver to latch on to and root for to win races; I haven't experienced that heart-pounding, excitement when your driver is leading or hunting for the lead with 10 laps to go; I think I found that driver now in Briscoe. Hearing how he came up was insane and super humble. Cried when he won Darlington. Awesome guest.

My fiance and I are about the same age as Chase and his wife and we were pregnant at the same time- after hearing about their miscarriage and thinking about our situation and what it would be to lose my now son I had to start rooting for the guy. Now hearing how he couch surfed and volunteered and clawed his way up and didn't come with family money and is so humble. Ive found the new cup driver for me and my young family to root for. Congrats on the promotion Chase! You earned a fan today- now go out there and crush it!

I need a new driver to like. I started liking racing and Dale Jr after I saw my first race in person Aug. of 1999 at Michigan. I just went to drink with friends from work and left a Nascar fan of the winner of that race. #3 AC Delco Chevrolet won and I started watching and cheering for Jr from that day to present. I try to like other drivers but it just is not the same. I hope to like a driver as much as I did Jr but I don't know if I can. Chase could be my new driver but he does drive a Ford. I am from Pontiac, Mi and most my family worked for GM but I have a couple Ford family friends and like 1 (Brother) works at Chrysler or whatever they call it these days. Well thats my Nascar life story and thanks for listening.

I don't know if Chase will get a chance to read this, but as SOO SORRY to hear about the loss of their child. my second niece was like that the week she was to be born, she died in the womb. to this day(33 years later) I still wonder what Elizabeth Jean would have been like and what she would be doing with her life. Chase it is ok to cry, and if anyone tells you REAL MEN DONT CRY sent them to me and I will smack them up side of the head. as for being strong for your wife, that is great but let me tell you from personal experience, that God gave us the ability to cry so we don't keep all the stuff bottled up inside of us, It will come out eventually, and if it doesn't come out in our tears, it will show up in ways we and others around us WONT LIKE, been there, sadly done that , and wound up in the hospital because of it. Continued good luck with your career, and please know that GOD has seen your tears and He cares about what has happened to you and your wife. Thanks again Dale for all your guests and for being so Open with your feelings. God Bless you both, ps the old Statler Brothers song Elizabeth always makes me cry, and I got the chance to talk via facebook once with Jimmy Fortune who wrote the song. he was nice enough to answer me and told me that he understood because the same thing happened to some one in his family. please Chase know that you are NOT ALONE take care
