I lost my father on 2011 3 days after father's day. He was 82 years young and he absolutely loved this type of music. He loved all types of music but this was his favourite because he was a true Scots man. Then after this he loved hearing the call to prayer for Muslims the guy that sings from the big tower thing. He travelled the world with the merchant navy and he said he always loved 2 things getting woke up in the morning hearing the call to prayer and coming home for a true scotch whisky and live Scots music 🎶 hearing the bagpipes and drums 🥁

Really?? You obviously aren’t from Scotland, this is NOT authentic! I grew up (as an Irishman) in the pipeband culture and competed as a drummer in many Scottish pipeband championships. We have a real drumming culture which IS handed down through multiple generations unlike these clowns with their fake Scottish drums who would be laughed out of a Scottish Grade 4 band competition. What an absolute joke!

It always bothers me when people make a big fat assumption that there is real animosity between the Scottish and the English people. I am English and absolutely love Scotish culture (well ALL United Kingdom culture)...live in Canada now, but whenever there is a parade here and a Scottish marching band goes by, those pipes make tears run down my face. Never mind the politics, just love and enjoy the music....and whats not to love about a man in a kilt!!

The beat of the drums in combination with bagpipes is special for me as a Bulgarian. Similar to Scotland, our country has been occupied and terrorized for centuries, which has left a footprint on our culture and folklore. Listening to this rhythms is like a history lesson, if I close my eyes I can see their ancestors preparing for battle, getting ready to protect and preserve their families, believes and dignity. There's so much emotion here. Stay strong Scotland, keep your traditions alive, those traditions are the spirit and the soul of your people.

Micky Mouse fake Scottish tourist music, these military style bag pipes didn't appear until the 18th century, before that the traditional pipes were Uilleann pipes, a completely different sound and style of music and drums never existed in Scotland until the British Army introduced them. As for their costumes, pure braveheart fiction.
