Their SHOULD be a minimum height requirement if girls are going to be sent home for being too short. I felt sorry for Ari who was very talented then let go at the last stage with no reason to her face but because she was too short as discussed behind the scenes.

Yes, it's a shame, but if a person is not short but too short, they could end up falling at the whole dance, for example, because they can't keep up, that would be like a domino effect in the end, they wouldn't forgive themselves for it. That would be much worse! They should require a minimum height but it was unfair. They could have been regulated more compassionately and let them dance at least once at dances where they don't dance together. Well maybe God has something else in store for you girl, keep your head up❣

@@alykgirl10 I saw that she made the Miami Dolphin Dance Team. Also she tried out the previous year for DCC (2022/2023) year and was cut. Wonder if they cut her in 22/23 for being short ?

Well they did not chose by weight, so dont be dramatic. It is obvious that DC cheerleaders cannot be overweight to do what they have to do. You just need common sense.

I wish weight wasn’t an issue! I understand they want a girl who looks good in the uniform, but I think back to Alex, she was beautiful and had a body most women would kills for, but because she wasn’t a size 0/2, she was considered heavy. That’s so sad. It should be about them being a good dancer.

@@EmelyPhanThey do way more than that. They told one girl her legs looked like drumsticks, another that she had a thutt (thighs and butt running together). They even go so far as to tell girls that they look like trashy strippers. Many of them end up with mental problems and eating disorders.

I believe Victoria was in the Office being talked to about her weight and Jinelle was there to help her and Victoria said she didn't want her help because Jinelle didn't have a weight problem

She’d probably have to take a pay cut because the cheerleaders budget is much lower. Also, all of those football players make way too much money. It’s ridiculous. It’s a bunch of overpaid men running around, chasing a ball, and touching each other’s butts. That’s literally all football is.

Hopefully the documentary results in a much needed backlash against the Dallas Cowboys for exploiting talented & athletic women who are inadequately compensated for the marketing & branding of the DC billion-dollar football business. The culture of being "America's Sweethearts" sets the stage for young women affected by the need to be "people-pleasers" to be exploited. Pay the ladies what they're worth! Even the mascot makes more. Give the female cheerleaders continuing contracts at fair market value in the same way that the male football players are compensated.

Strange, weight and height are the first 2 requirements. The candidate's attitude is one of the most important factors.

DCC is just like company principle dancers. As a dad I had my 3 sons dance in big city nutcracker ballet as kid performers and l never knew what athletes the company dancers are, wow, RESPECT. They make it look so easy, like any top athletes. Take your average person to tryouts and we'd be laughing. Netflix needs to do it again next year, I'm hooked in a nice way. Now my fantasy foitball team has to have a cowboy!

Victoria is friends with Kelli’s daughter who is around the same age as Victoria as Victoria’s mom and Kelli cheered together back in the day. Kelli seems to have something against Victoria, so I wonder if it stems from something in their shared past. Simple theory.

I felt like they shared just enough in the original series! I'm not interested in a soap opera. I enjoyed seeing the training and standards set and enforced in the OG series. She's basically saying now it's going to be all long and drawn out 🥴 I was hype but I won't watch this season... bummer

Obviously you have to be thin to be in this group. That's how the world is. They're incredible dancers but there's something about this whole thing that feels creepy.
