If I remember correctly, the 40 time for Ferguson was 4.8, so a 4.7 with Spann-Ford is not a horrible time. Height, Wingspan and BLOCKING ability is promising. Yes and he has a large catch radius and will elevate for the catch! I’m not making him a pro-bowler yet but he definitely checks a lot of boxes!

The Cowboys didn’t draft him because of his college stats. They have repeatedly talked about how well he tested and his athletic ability. He’s one of their projects. If you think Schoonmaker is gone then you obviously don’t know the Cowboys front office well. All you dumbasses don’t even know how to spell the guys name too 🤦‍♂️

Voch I first heard of this guy from Foots who was raving about him as a possible 5th or 6th rounder. Dude is a beast. I agree with your great film session , aside from his catching and running skills and hands he’s a beast of a tackler. I don’t think we have any tight end that moves players like this guy. He was the first UDFA signed by the Cowboys. They had their eyes on him for a long time. This film session I hope gets a long treatment in the near future bec I’ve already seen it 3 times. I have to give it to Will McClay and the front office. They have added some seriously tough, hard nosed maulers to this Offensive front . Add Hunter to that mix and thats one big, bad front that no defensive front is going to enjoy getting pushed around by. I'm all-in on that. Bout time they get that formidable and imposing front again like so many Cowboys teams in the past. That was always their team identity.

Gronk was 4.68. Brevin. 4.76. A difference of 0.08 Both are 6'6 Gronk when drafted was 265 lbs. A difference of 5 lbs. Gronks hands only 2/4ths of an inch bigger. Brevins wingspan only about 4 inches shorter.

Honestly when I saw the name I did not know who he was and I was not excited but after seeing this film of his play; this changed my mind and I also forgot about Steven's that got injured in training camp last year because Steven's was one of my top players in training camp and I was upset that he got injured but now this changes and I agree with you when it comes to the TE group here I think they should keep Stevens, Ford and ferguson. Also I thought they should have signed Gabe Hall too and tried to get him developed because he reminds me of one of my favorite cowboys of all time David Irving.
