Just imagine how strong the updraft has to be to hold all that ice up that high
@stephensnell57074 ай бұрын
You may not be aware that Thunderstorms(very strong ones) will have Updrafts over 100mph+ and that is way strong enough for hail to grow over 3 inches⚠️

Thank y’all for not using foul language! This is the largest hail I have ever seen in person and online. It’s large and coming down fast like a heavy rain! Great videos guys/gals!!!

I went through the same type of hail storm in Fish Lake, MN in 2003 while delivering pizzas for Domino's. The sound baseball and softball size hail makes when smacking the roof of a house (in this case my customer's) in unmistakable and a sound you will never forget.

This might be my favorite/best hail video of all time. It’s huge hail AND a lot of it, AND it lasted like 10 minutes. Plenty of videos out there with 1 or 2 of those parameters but not all 3.

On my trucks my plates always were hail 93 , hail 94, hail 96, hail 97, hail 99 ,hail 2k. I was a roofing contractor in the Tx panhandle and every storm I went to and picked up another truck then that would be their plate.

That was so freakin' cool (except for the poor people that got vehicles or buildings damaged). The trees getting shredded reminded me of a storm we had in Wisconsin a few years back. I had a beautiful patio garden full of flowers. By the end of the storm it looked like a giant tossed salad on the deck. Literally had to shovel up the debris.

I vaguely remember this storm--it was the 4th costliest hail storm on record in the state of Texas! I got caught in a similar Dallas storm around this time on a Saturday night, driving home from church, it was TERRIFYING! Hail the size of tennis balls! I tried hiding under some trees on a side street, and only got pelted with tree branches, just like this video!

Here in Connecticut sleet is more common than hail. Sleet is like hail, but it happens in winter when snowflakes melt and refreeze on the way down. The result is balls of ice 1/16 inch in diameter falling as precipitation, so whenever I see 1/4 inch hail I consider that to be bad.

I was there, I'm in the North East (Easton, PA) and they had a brief storm. It was, well, people were panicking here, running around, and the hail was the size of...peas. This video pretty much shows why I was like "It's gonna be OK, trust me, you don't know hail." My Jeep from 2012 looks like god himself took aim with a shotgun and fired it right down like he was pissed at it. And it's so cool listening to everyone in this video because yea, it's Texas, shit like this happens, but wow, it's not that it happens, it's how you can just chill and say "Yea, that as a transformer blowing out, can I get a burger after this?"
