The navy EOD secretary contacted Jake to find bombs planted on their former ship due his adept skill in finding possible murder weapons. little do the viewers know they played it down to being a simple KZfaq of him finding shapes, so they don’t alarm the citizens of San Diego of a serious and possibly catastrophic mission going on beneath the bay. Jake saved millions of lives that day day and kept America safe, thank you for your service.

I am glad that you like San Diego and visiting the USS Midway. I had been in a ship for a school trip. I believe that one of the instructors told us that the ship is from one of the wars.

Alpha_mac_omega - They offer sign up bonuses for certain jobs. These jobs are usually extremely tough though hence the bonus.

The U.S.S. Midway is an amazing carrier, I was there for the museum! My Step-dad is a Navy Veteran and he even escorted the Midway when he served. I appreciate those who served our Country.

My father was in the Navy. He was actually stationed in San Diego for Operation Desert Storm from around 1990-1993. He worked at the Navel hospital there.

My step dad is an under water welder and he does carpentry when he's not diving. He flies and stays all over the world. Before this, he was Navy sea bee. This is amazing. I wish he could do this someday!

That's part of their job/what they get paid for. Especially when they get deployed. If they have down time they often lift weights to keep busy. And depending on their field they often need the muscle to do the job. Like lifting heavy ordinance or the guy moving that boat by hand.

Did you Manage a tour ? I was Stationed on that Ship.I was an Aviation Ordnance men.I chose that rate as it gave me a chance to get trained as a Navy Diver /Salvage.However I got Lazy in Boot camp ,and did not go through the Buds/Diver School Test.I stayed in the Aviation Ordnance Rate For 7 Yrs.With a Recall from the Reserves for Desert Storm.My First Squadron assignment was with VA-115 .We Operated the A6 Intruder All weather Attack Aircraft.I was with VA-115 ,from 88-1990.

I had a son that was stationed in San Diego, Ca & I was able to go on his ship for a 9 day cruse from Hawaii to there. I was on the base with him & we walked on a air craft carrier where a bunch of guys were playing basket ball on a lower deck. It was the most expensive basket ball court I've ever seen.

If I remember right you can modify a fish finder to do the same job as the sonar in this video. Just make sure that you can adjust the sensitivity of the fish finder. Of course you would have to either build or try to find a water proof box for the display and batteries. It shouldn’t cost more than $300. I believe it would help you find more items on the bottom of any body of water.
