We try our hand at repairing another drone. This Air 2S comes to us by way of an Ebay purchase. Will this buy be a bust or Da bomb. Watch and see.#dronerepair #air2s

Thanks for the great video! I had to do the exact repair on my Air 2S. One small note. On my drone, the two small screws under the gimbal were Torx T5 screws...same head as the screws on the propeller caps.

I really appreciate the video! Thanks for posting. There aren’t a lot of videos out there with the Air 2S, and you just happened to be doing the same arm I needed to repair. I got a bit scared having to solder anything, but it worked out great.

Reminds me a lot of the original Mavic Pro design, meshed with some of the board designs found in the original Air. Great repair!

Thanks for the video, I need to replace the rear arm axis on mine. $21 part and was able to get free next day shipping! Better than sending it in, waiting and paying extra. Not a big fan of soldering though~~

Thanks for the video! Popping the plastic apart like that is never fun when you aren't sure if you got all the fasteners loose! Air 2S is up and flying again.

Hello, I was wondering what tools do I need specifically for just taking out the upper frame area. Mine has a hairline crack towards the end of the top frame of the drone and I was thinking of just replacing it instead of waiting for the hairline crack to grow bigger

You can buy any small tool set with interchangeable bits, star, hex and Philips. You'll be covered for all sizes needed.

Hi, sir, can i do replacement of the arms of dji air 2 to dji air2s? I want to add air 2 arms to air 2s. are they same?

Congratulation for your video , at 19:44 you said that the little contacts are antenna extender. I think that they are the battery contacts (like a cold contact) , that means that if the battery did not lock correctly the drone will not start up.

Offbeat question: my Air 2s has cracked gimbal camera lens glass. It's not the lens itself, or the ND filter, but the glass behind it. I can find a replacement piece, but have you ever removed that by itself? The Mavic Mini is glued on, but the Air 2s looks like it has screws or something. Any experience with this? I can't find instructions anywhere.

I’ve never worked on an air 2s camera by itself, not sure if you can replace the lens by itself. If you can, I doubt you can find a lens to purchase.

Hello, very good video, I have a big doubt, I want to know if you know where exactly the compass is located in the Mavic Air 2, I had a similar doubt with the compass of the Mavic Air v1 and after investigating more than 6 I was able to confirm that it was located in the main board, that is, it is integrated with the board. Do you know if the same thing happens with the Mavic Air 2 version? Thank you

I did not see a separate compass module in the Air 2s. The Mavic Air 2 has virtually the same internals.

Awesome video!! Where did you buy the new parts from? Also could you do a video on replacing the Gimbal Mount Rubber Isolators' that are like springy rubber. They are common to find on ebay, but no install or diy's on how to get that off the Gimbal or how to remove the Gimbal to replace those. One of mine is collapsed and sometimes causes stuttering in the film in wind bc the camera isn't as solid as my other drones which are just both much newer basically so their fine, an Air 2S (x2) and a Mini 3 Pro..

I’m not sure. The two drones are identical except for the cameras.

@@DaltonDroneZone thanks dalton. learned today that air2and air2s have same motor with color coding gray, black and white wires. rotation is controlled only by wire placements. no specific rotation by itself.
