Thanks Ian, baltic here today in Northumberland too, also -3. Yeah thats kind of how we do holidays these day, now we're getting older, we've done the 2 weeks lying about doing nowt round a pool. Nice tonrelax but nice to immerse yourself in the places you are visiting.

@@continentalcoxons I was hoping to get that cold weather, snowy days experience, when anticipating for a posting to Europe, however, all I got is a posting to Mumbai. My first snow experience was at Sierra Nevada near Granada, Spain in 1996. Long after that, my next snowy winter experience was at Shimla, Manali and Solang Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India, the weather was below 0°Celcius. It was supposed to be a trip to Switzerland but had to improvise my plan. Someday, I'll make sure my dreams come alive for good. 😀

Yeah the colour of the sea was amazing. Great for swimming. The people around Dalyan are particularly friendly, no hassle or anything like other Turkish holiday destinations. Lovely place.
