Judging by the location where the Bengals player and Hamlin collided on that tackle, I am thinking that Hamlin suffered a condition known as commotio cordis, which is what happens when an object (such as, in this case, a football helmet) strikes the chest directly above the heart during a critical time in the heartbeat, causing both an abnormal heart rhythm and cardiac arrest immediately.

I can't bear the thought of that. From what I've seen here, it happens in literally seconds. If so, that is a small comfort. Then when they came back on and they showed the replay of how he fell and the face of the Players on both Teams I knew something was seriously wrong. When he was Transportated to the UC Medical Center theu were supposed to give a Press Conference that night but canceled it off.
