Key point you missed : the butterfly clasp is so good because it uses 4 ceramic ball bearings.

WOW! That's why they are my favourite. Quality quality quality, yes expensive too, but will look great for years and years and will outlive us. I'm a bracelet guy and that blows just about every other one out of the water. Engineering excellence bar none.

Bought from y’all and it fit my 2009 DA37 no issue. I did email Damasko and had a response in 24 hrs. Truly made the watch come alive for a second life. Of course it’s still looks as new as it did 12 years ago. Ice hardened steel is the real deal. Worth every penny. Thanks

I’ve had an eye on Damasko for ages, but fell into the trap of buying a few cheaper watches, rather than just saving up for one. I can’t look beyond the DA44 and the like, gotta have a turning bezel on mine. They seem to be THE watch to last a lifetime. One day, maybe, one day.

Just bought the DS30 I’ve had my eye on for over a year. Cant wait for it to arrive, I trust it’s safe in your hands Marc. Now for the bracelet maybe Christmas 2021, gotta give the wife time to cool off after the price of the watch before I drop the cost of the bracelet in her haha

I have a DA 35 on steel, was on leather. Having 25 watches, over years of collection the bracelet here went from boring to sharp. Glad I did it I wear my Damasko far more often. Glad paid about 1,200 now it gets far more wrist time agree now 1,900 invested but not rolling on my winder all the time.

I’ll be honest, I can’t justify (in my current financial status) buying myself a bracelet that cost more than my watch But I get it, if you want the best of what Damasko can make, and you are in the dedicated consumer demographic This bracelet makes sense.

Mark, as a DA46 owner (bought it from Page and Cooper right before you offered it), You should point out that the drilled holes, a rarity nowadays, Make strap changes, particularly on a bracelet as robust as this, incredibly easy. If that’s not a selling point, then I don’t know what it is.

Funnt you mentioned Sinn, because this bracelet reminds me of the H-link bracelet that I had on my Sinn 104. Only thing I don't like about this bracelet is that the center "link" on the end link protrudes past the lugs. Thus extending the lug to lug measurement

...True, but it would appear that the links are short enough, that fine adjustment is possible without the micro-adjustment.

They also include two longer links, so you can size between link sizes. I can't imagine you couldn't find a perfect fit with the two slightly longer links.

Looks like it would be a nice upgrade to your watch if you already had a Damasko. The ice hardened stainless steel means there would'nt be any difference between a older watch head and a new bracelet. It does look like a high quality product .

I made an omission; there is micro-adjustment by means of replaceable links that are slightly longer.

I love the watches, love the bracelet, but the weak lume has me staying away. For all their incredible engineering and attention to functionality, using a weak SL just baffles me. If I’m willing to pay $700 for the bracelet (which I would be), I would also be willing to pay $X amount for C3 Superluminova, or BGW9. Orient, Seiko, Stowa, Oris, a wide range of watches at this price point and lower have better lume. I’d rather deal with case and bracelet wear over time than not be able to read my watch after a long walk at night. I wish I could have both, come on Damasko!!!!

I don't like the design of the Damasko watches. I would never own one, so I don't have to worry about the price of this bracelet (WOW). But the reason for the video is "The Ultimate Upgrade", and that bracelet elevates that watch to another level. That is a fine example of the expression "night and day"!

Given that these watches are upwards of a grand and the strap is over $700, you're entering into a new category of watches. For not much more than that you can start to get into the high end. Gray market Omegas can be bought around $3500, and that isn't that much more than this watch plus this bracelet. And I'd rather spend a few more months putting money aside to save up for an Omega than to buy one of these right now. It's certainly a nice looking watch, and the bracelet does make it look nicer, but all of it together should be $700-$1,000 especially when they probably didn't pay that much money for the movement: It's a simple ETA movement with a day/date feature, and without a display case back lets us know that they almost certainly did not spring for the most expensive, most polished one that was available. They could have gotten the movement for as low as $20.00, so is the case, the crystal, the leather strap is come with, and this bracelet really worth about $1,800?

If Tudor can sell a plain watch with ETA movement and simple 316L steel bracelet for more than 2 grand, I'd say this Damasko watch with its in-house technology steel that can last a century definitely worth the price tag. There shouldn't be that much of a different between the movements' grade to justify the superior value, even if that's the case.

Your comment is appreciated, but you are wrong on the ETA. You cannot get a 2836 for $20. I don't care how many you purchase. At the "ebay" retail they are $150. Comparing it to an Omega. . . see what a Damasko looks like after 10 years of use. It will still look new. An Omega will be scratched all over. Again, just trying to put your comment into perspective.

Long Island Watch sorry mark, I would still take a second hand Seamaster over the demasko. It’s a beautiful watch, but my titanium tissot doesn’t look much different and cost significantly less than the bracelet. It’s a beautiful watch and love the bracelet. But that price is simply crazy. If it was a big name maybe. But come resale, you know you’re never going to get even close to $1700usd back.

Huy Trần You will never hear me defend Tudor or any other company that sells watches supposedly high end watches without in house movements. And that's not even to mention how much I absolutely hate Tudor's hour hands.

Even at $150, that means that they are valuing the rest of the watch, excluding the metal bracelet at over $1,000 which is absolutely insane. And as Nathan Porter said, I'd much rather have a second hand Omega, and even if it is scratched after ten years, that's ten years where I would have had an Omega, a brand which most non-watch people have even heard of and would think impressive upon seeing it. And ten years is so long that I don't even know if I'd have any watch after that long, maybe, but who is to say? So if I wanted to sell it, I would be able to get decent money for the Omega, but almost nothing for the Damasko. I'm also overly careful with watches, I don't wear them when I think I will be doing anything that might damage them and I'm super careful doing regular things when I do have them. I've been into watches for a little more than three years now and I have no damage on any of them at all, they are all still basically in new condition with the exception of the leather straps on some of them which degrade after a while of taking them on and off.

Ice hardened scares me as if they have tried heat treating like a knife, and used water, there may be cracks in the steel... but I suppose they have their production process dialed in.. But NO QUICK Adjust and butterfly clasp.. no thanks..
