Turned out sooo pretty. You werked those ends…. Yessss! And you are absolutely correct, braids do not grow your hair. I think when you take them down, it gives the illusion of being longer because you haven’t seen your real hair in a couple-few months. Great style and education! xoxo…PTB 🥰

@@jessicab331 obviously, hair will grow and bring on new growth… touching it or not, hair is meant to grow and it’s definitely not because of braids. Braids is the worst kind of protective style but anyway… agree to disagree because it’s not that serious.

Braids are really the only thing we can get if we’re active. BW have always had to struggle with hair vs fitness. A silk press isn’t great if you’re in the gym a lot. And most of us find ourselves slacking the week after our salon visit.😢

braids grow my hair i take a breaks in between and make sure to get my ends clipped and keep my hair well moisturized during the braids... different strokes for different folks
