Dame Judi Dench speaks about the app EV News

Dame Judi Dench, who suffers from Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), has given her approval to the RSS News Feed, EV News and the MD Evreader both created by Professor Robin Walker at Royal Holloway, University of London, for those with AMD. The EV News reader helps AMD sufferers read the news and keep up to date with current affairs.

First, let me say, I absolutely love you Judy!!! This past week I just wanted to watch a good movie and was searching my mind for what to watch then I remembered you! So you had already been on my mind when I happily came across this reading app video you posted! 😊 Thank you for sharing this because I have trouble reading also. What marvelous information, thank you for sharing. And I am so thrilled to see more videos from you on KZfaq I can't Tell you how I have enjoyed your passion for trees. Ever since I was a child, now in my 60s I have felt this deep passion as well, and simply could not live anywhere without. I apologize for going off topic. Best wishes

I don’t know if the app that I have is the same as what Dame Julie Dench is talking about, but I suffer with dyslexia and I sometimes have trouble trying to understand letters, especially because I have a lot of health condition all the app helping me with other tasks. the one I have a set up for People who are blind or going blind have some visual impairment problems understanding things and with my app. Can’t remember the name without looking on my phone but you just have to click on your app and then if it’s a medical document just hold your phone above it and it will read that document for you. I can’t remember what else it does as of not long headed and it didn’t cost me anything and my mum recommended it to me so I’m not sure if it’s the same as what Judy is telling us.
