Linda Roane, it surprises me the amount of people that insist on them being great actors. Makes me laugh at that ridiculous statement. Yes, they are super actors but two and a half of these movies was acting with feelings. Feelings that I am sure came on them and surprised the hell out of them. Foley has made the statement that they never had an off moment between them and the crew from all 3 movies said they were very affectionate with one another. Just how do you act that way when you are not shooting? Jamie made his choice, whether he had to or not, but I think he had no choice, not many men leave their pregnant spouse with 2 kids under the age 4. His career wouldn't hold up and Dakota would have been blamed. If anyone is to blame here it is most definitely Jamie. He knew his circumstances, why lead someone on. End of my soap box but I agree with you Linda on the fact that I have never seen two more people that truly belong together than Jamie and Dakota.

But what I found amusing was when EL James went on her 🇺🇸 book tour to promote her new book, The Mister, every show she was on, the hosts kept bringing up the fifty shades movies. They wanted to know if she had a hand in choosing JD, and DJ, and she said yes she did. As she told what her new book was about, fifty shades kept coming up, and scenes from the movies were shown, and she was on a lot of talk shows. I have her new book, but haven't read it yet. I'm waiting on freed in Christian pov. When she is asked about it, she always say, " I haven't forgotten about Christian and Ana". We haven't forgotten either. I would really like to know why she was so quick to put grey and darker in Christian pov, and hold back on the last one when she know everyone is waiting for it. I find that strange. She should know that last book of fifty in his words will out sell the new book.

I'm thinking that maybe she's been told not to do it because it brings back to the forefront Jamie and Dakota, but nobody can tell a writer what to write, right? I don't think her books will be received as widely as the Fifty Shades books because of Jamie and Dakota. So sad not to see them together. Wish things had been different.

I love to read the comments and post of others and I must say the one post who has been consistent and makes the most sense is from a woman named Gia, she wrote on another comment, can't remember where but she is very knowledgeable and said something to the effect that Jamie & Dakota are twin souls who are more powerful than Soul mates, because twin souls mirror off one another. They have there own karmic ties they have to complete in their personal lives before they can be brought back together, i wish I knew what site it was on but it is so fascinating, so I looked up twin souls and there are seven stages I believe and it does spell Dakota and Jamie, how they met and felt instantly bonded and attracted to one another, how his life was so very unhappy and empty for so long even before he meets his twin soul and her life was also not in stable relationships, I mean Gia breaks in down and it is so true , I mean she is good at predictions and body languages because I have read over 12 comments from when Freed was just made and she is consistent and precise. I always look forward to her comments, because she simplifies it to be so visual and makes you realize it's so true. I believe they are going through their own issues and I do believe Jamie and his wife haven't been getting along for years, but the public can't see behind closed doors, because his PR always have to sell the "Fairytale wedding" but that is so far from the truth and I believe his wife does her own living outside the marriage as well but always comes back to their familiarity which is she being in control of their relationship and her possession "JAMIE"...For whatever reasons he allowed and put up with it will be the lessons he needs to face in order to end the Karmic toxic relationship in that Fake Marriage. And once he does and grows some cohones and be the Man he was with Dakota, he will be able to be happier in his life as he closes that chapter. He can still be a dad and be there for his children w/o living under the same roof because he will be a Better man and Happier Father. You have so many people who want to pass judgment and look to blame someone, but at the end of the day he has to be happy just as we all want to be, no matter his status so for those who will feel the need to past blame on either co-star needs to look at themselves in the mirror, and realize these co-stars are human and go through the same things ordinary folks do. LIVE AND LET LIVE!!!! Kudos to them that are brave enough to stand for what is right no matter the adversity, live your truth we are not hear to judge. We are here to live our truth, gossip will fade, after all, misery loves company..I say Jamie and Dakota have been apart for years w/o any communication, if his marriage finally ends as it's destined to so they could both move on and grow, it will be Destiny that steps in and brings J & D back together because what is meant for you, can not be taken away, no matter how long it takes...Let's not forget he left Dakota to stay with his narcissistic dominating bitter wife, because he loved her and his family, but it's years later and I believe as Gia pointed out they are secretly separated and their divorce will be next, yes she post pictures of him filming and her surprising him, that is who she is, she knows the truth, she must keep tabs on him always, doesn't mean they are still a couple, she needs these photos to keep the public believing in their fake cover-up fairytale. Anyone with a brain knows better. I didn't mean to go on and on but it is my opinion and theory. read up on Twin Flames....

I agree with their chemistry and falling in love, but I don't shoot down on the gullible that are blind to the truth. Whether they end up together or not, that is their business and what matters is their happiness in my eyes. It would be a shame that people like yourself will judge them for wanting to live their truth. I am a Fan no matter what they do... If they miss their opportunity again, that will be their lifetime regret. I am a supporter of the J&D fan club 100%. I don't think Gia hasn't replied or commented in a while because she feels as you stated, she's wrong, possibly she doesn't feel the need to defend her comments to those who do not matter, maybe she doesn't have the time and it doesn't matter to prove you wrong, she commented on what she feels and there are many who believe the same, not everyone is wrong. You should respect others right to speak, as you like the same. I agree with Gia and the many others, she stood out to me because she speaks the truth, and not waiting for the moment it happens, it will be so when the time is right as I believe and have the patience that their journey will be brought together as fated. Sherry Cannon I agree- but they will not act together for a long time, if ever, unfortunately - it will bring back the hurt feelings. Still remember seeing JD at the freed Premier in Paris. He felt awfull.

@@kirstennielsen6902 I agree, he was definitely not his usual self. Of course the wife was there which had a lot to do with how he acted, seemed to be afraid of her or her actions. I'm sure she handed down her walking papers to him or staying away from Dakota. If you remember one scene all members of the cast were together and Dakota and Jamie had Foley and Erica between the two of them, wonder whose idea that was but on stage for the finale he and Dakota were side by side and when she was speaking he had the sweetest look on his face as he gazed at her. I'm sure he got hell for that from the little woman.
