As a 60+ year old black man I always saw the violin as an instrument for classical music so I hardly listened to violin played music. Then bang 2 days ago exploring KZfaq I came across Black Violin and yesterday I came across Damien. Just goes to show one is never too old to discover new music choices.

Yes. Just finding out about him today. Late.... I know....But he won me as a fan on the very first note of his violin. I can't stop listening to him and its my bedtime. His playing reaches deep within you, to the core. Talented violinist that plays amazing music.

Went to the Negro League Baseball Museum in Kansas City and told them they meeded to have at least one album for sale by Damien. She immediately ordered several for the music shop in the Kansas City Jazz district.

As a violinist, I love this. I play classical but also flamenco in this style and I have never come across anyone else. I LOVE his/your violin. My violin dislikes the Spanish climate but this would be great. An inspiration thank you.
