It’s all a matter of energies
they keep spinning round and round
hiding in different places,
inside the ones you love,
or someone you’ve just met
until they collide
and become our best memories.
It begins as a noise in the background
like the one you get after a night out
you can only hear it when you’re alone
before you fall asleep
but when it comes to this noise
it’s still there the morning after
sometimes we hide our thoughts in the silence
cause we’re just too afraid of listening
too afraid of changing even a stupid thing of our routine.
but energy needs to be pushed
like when you hit the first piece of a domino
take a risk,
listen to what your silence is telling you.
even if you realize this
you’re still sailing miles away from the shore
but you can feel that something is there waiting for you, and that’s where the fun part begins.
spend time on things you will never regret
get out of bed with a smile
make peace, make promises,
be there for someone
embrace your noise.
when you do that,
when the noise becomes a sweet melody
the one you can listen to a million times
you’ve finally found
your reason.
