I watched this 3 years ago, I cried when I realized the danger of self in marriage. I watched it again today as I am now preparing to get married. I pray the Lord help me love my in laws.

Great movie! I always believe nobody is bad for marriage. Once you are sure a man or a lady is God's will for you, go for the person. It is your responsibility to bring the best out of the person through love, patience, understanding, and prayers. Sometimes, the reason God is bringing a lady or a guy with a bad character your way is because he wants to transform her or him through your lifestyle. What a movie!! Short, precise and loaded with great lessons. I actually went emotional and cried at some point. In the end, it's obvious that no relationship can survive without Christ taking over the hearts of the parties involved. Thank you Mummy Gloria for making it clear that even a mother in law can submit herself to Christ and overcome flesh in order to win the heart of her daughter in law unlike the default setting borne out of cultures and tradition especially in Yoruba land where a daughter in law is expected to pay the price to sustain her relationship with her in laws. This is a wonderful father-in-law! It is good to marry from the LORD’s vineyard. He was really instrumental in making them all see the light of Christ. Also I like that the mother in-law despite her hurt first and openly rebuked their son when they went visiting and heard him shouting while she too was crying, I also love how the father in-law counseled the daughter in-law making her realize that her mother in-law is her mum by covenant plus the blessings attached what a rhema!. Sad some in-laws listens to their own child’s complaints and never bother to call the other part and ask for his/her side of the story talkless of stepping in to make peace.
