I always interpreted "beatdown" as more just trashtalking the iffy quality of the knockoffs moreso than the literal beatdown part, I don't really see a need to rename it, it works fine as a title.

Its good to know that it's not just us Transformers fans that appreciate Thew, it's normal people as well! And Thew, dude, just give us a video where you insult, or even just talk about, the knockoffs. There must be hundreds of the buggers by now, we deserve your comments about them! The smashing was always an optional extra.

I always associated the "beatdown" in Knock-Off Beatdown to be more about the verbal beat down you lay on that shit. Honestly, the physical smashing can be funny, but hearing you tear them apart is what makes the videos hilarious to me.

I swear it's just been a bunch of Energon Nostalgia for me this week and I'm loving it. First the video on how Energon isn't so bad, then Fans Hobby's Energon Optimus reveal, now this. Now some Armada too and that would be great.

I think "Beatdown" is still a perfectly acceptable name for knock-off discussions. Physically destroying them is not required. On that topic, I purchased a Premium Transformers Mystery Box from a Facebook add knowing it was a scam just because curiosity overcame me, and yep... Total rip off as I received a knock off that they say was worth $5.00, but I guess it is actually a Dollar store POS. Made me think of your old vids when I opened it. Keep up the awesome stuff. It's a shame your build videos didn't do better, Thew. I enjoyed them and they got me into Gunpla. I was super depressed and borderline suicidal at the time, I saw your first build video and thought that building Gunpla looked like a relaxing distraction. I picked up my first kit and some tools shortly after and it was a huge help on taking my mind off the bullshit of the day, helped me get through until I was able to get out of the situation that was making me miserable. So yeah, it's a shame the didn't do better but they really helped me in the end. Thank you.

We are all playing real life Pokémon Snap with Transformers. Filling out our Pokédex and studying them. Some catch them all. Some build up their own squad that reflects their own style. Never saw the similarities until your video!

If I am gonna be honest, having Megatron turn into a helicopter is very rare for a Megatron figure. Most of the times whenever we've seen a Megatron figure he turns into either a gun, tank, dinosaur, dragon, Cybertronian spacecraft and tank or a truck. Animated Megatron is as rare as Cybertron Megatron is when it comes to vehicle modes because one turns into a helicopter while the other one turns into a Batmobile of doom that triple changes into a spacecraft. I would really like to see them revisit these concepts where Meatron doesn't turn into a tank or a gun. It's the same thing with Optimus Prime from 2001's R.I.D and Cybertron where they both turn into fire trucks instead of the regular truck he turns into.

a couple ideas for the Knock off videos - the Knock off -Knock off - reviewing the knock off's and then lining them all up on a table, and using past TF toy 'shooting rockets' (like RiD Scourge/G2 Optimus) to knock them off, into a trash bin. the KO-KO - Basically the same, except using 'attack' features, like Megatron's morningstar, or Movie Barricades 'extending punch'. Just some ideas that popped in my head while watching the video. Keep up the good work.

Having beatdown just be talking would still be great, really. I never really paid much attention to the actual BEATDOWN part, I was more involved in my main man talking about cheap pieces of plastic and making puns, really. So yeah, it should stick around even if the crushing and destroying thing will be gone.

They come for us all from time to time, and you hop from project to project to try and delay the inevitable feeling of ineptitude that comes from being able to complete anything.... But it always goes away. Hopefully. As for the model kits, I think introducing a live stream format might be a good semi-low effort way to get some content out of it. Plus engagement bonus points! But that's just my two cents, however much that is in quid.
