These girls literally bring tears of pure joy to my eyes pretty much every time I watch a couple of their live performances. It's incredible! The only other band that's been able to do that to me is Iron Maiden.

I have seen Judas Priest and Iron Maiden live, both in their prime decades ago. These women smoke, at least as good if not better. The dean guitar/grand piano woman is Miyako. The word for her is virtuoso

It feels terrific to see other people that love great music as much as I do. I don't get out much so watching the cool reactors is like standing shoulder and shoulder at a concert. Great fan comments also help me appreciate favorite bands.

Great reaction Jimmy, that's pretty much how they always make me feel. Is this their best? No, because so much of their stuff is at this level. Best description I've seen: "You could have asked a bunch of comic-book artists to design a band of alien superheroes, disguised as beautiful women who use music to battle darkness, and they could not have come up with this. It's really insane."

Loved watching your jaw drop watching thes video clip. I can think of only one other band where one of the members sits down at a grand piano and plays a classical recital in the middle of the performance and that is X-Japan an all male Japanese metal band with great hair, who, BTW you should check out. Yoshiki the drummer does exactly the same thing, again on a conceet grand piano. Miyako (guitarist/pianist) has studied classical piano for twenty-seven of her thirtty years, and the piano could be considered her main instrument since she only started playing the guitar at eighteen. Don't you just love it that rocking out at the end of 'Shadowmaker' she puts down her Dean guitar (the same guitar Dimebag Darrell of Pantera played) goes to a concert grand piano and plays a difficult Chopin Etude, which is really thr into to the next song 'Swan Song' and as she plays the last note you can see her picking up her pick with her left hand ready to kill it on the guitar again. You should really buy thr the two DVDs availlable of their live concerts.

Great reaction. This band is so multi-talented. Reading comments below are some very well educated and Lovebitten fans. Irony Maiden is still my number one, but Lovebites is a solid number two. Funny because Miho is a huge fan of Bassist Steve Harris from Iron Maiden and uses a lot of his technique but has created her own sound. These girls look like princesses but they can kick anyone's butt.

Yes, she freaking plays a piano, also keyboards and guitar at the same time. Check Burden of Time. Epilogue and Swan Song to which this etude was the intro also have good amount of piano. They all are multi-instrumentalist that can literally makeup their own band. Many have already said decent amount about them, it's just, like you said, the best band right now, anywhere.

As everything you said :-) You can tell there is classical influences in some of their songs. Miyako, studied classical piano from an early age and is a fan of Chopin, who has written what is acknowledged as the finest examples of piano music. You have to feel for those poor guitar strings in Break The Wall :-)
