@@jackdaone6469 That's actually why they changed 2-D's design. Originally, he was missing his 2 front teeth. But since their triumphant return in 2017, he's only missing 1 of his front teeth, and you'll notice it's the exact same tooth that Damon is missing.

I asked his bodyguard Smoggy about his bead necklace thinking it was Albarns. His wife kindly responded below. This is the closest I’ve gotten to an answer on the fate of the beads. Hi Sean - The answer to your question - Smog said The necklace Damon wore was made by his mom when he was very young. Damon no longer wears his necklace he gave some of the beads to his god daughte rOlivia who is actualy our daugher and beads live on in the form of a necklace made by Smog for her. Smog has has his bead necklace since the 80's and was custom made by himself ! x x (sic) Here’s my verdict: I’ve read some comments around that said people had handed in some to security after the gig. It seems reasonable to conclude he gave the remaining beads to people who were special to him.

Well 2-D's singing has gotten lower over the years, early on Damon would do a fairly high falsetto but he's too old to hit those notes now. But also studio recording allows him to always get 2-Ds singing just right, if you watch their concerts in 217, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, & 2023 (many of which are here on KZfaq in full, I actually have a playlist with all the best and most HD ones) you'll notice that he doesn't even bother and just sings as he normally would, like how he does on Blur songs.

I remember going to the soundcheck during the Gorillaz Humanz tour in Chicago. I can’t remember why I said this, but it had something to do with Damon’s typical weariness of technology and how fast information spreads. I ended up saying kinda loudly “not like how it was with Blur, huh?” Didn’t expect Damon to actually respond back but he did asking “what was?” And I said “y’know, information and incidents passing and everyone knowing about it.” And he said, “oh God no!” And then he told the story he told here of him pulling his pants down when he was 20.

Well, it looks like it was really important to him, I wouldn't be over it either if I was him. That, and he was drunk and clearly in a bad place when it happened probably also made it more hurtful. Not only did he loose something so important to him, he also embarassed himself by being so drunk while it happened

At least those were partially due to his own choices but my band's worst gigs were often hearing our band's mixes in our ear monitors sounding fine and then finding out afterwards the sound guys didn't even turn on the mics for our backing vocalists...

I was at the Blackburn gig for the TT tour in November 2003, the day after they played the Manchester Apollo. Damon admitted then got absolutely hammered after the Manchester gig and he was still majorly hung over. It really affected their performance, and not in a good way.

Yes and no. Yes, because Graham loved MBV so in 1990-91, Blur recorded many songs with "guitar walls" on them. And no, because the Rollercoaster Tour was in March-April 92; by that time, Blur were in another musical direction.
