I love Damon in this episode. He's mourning two people. More so Alaric, but he's also mourning the life he wanted for Elena. His reactions are hilarious. Stefan invited him to the lantern ceremony, all-knowing Damon is an emotionally private person. His scene at Alaric's grave is one of his best. I stand by my assessment of his scene with Stefan outside the church. He had no intention of telling Stefan that he blood shared with Elena. It slipped because he was worried for her, and Stefan kept pressing.

Is it just me or this scene seems a little erotic, I mean Damon's face 😅😅
