Even though I'm a hardcore Delena Fan and not the biggest Bonnie lover doesn't mean I don't like Katerina Graham or somthing like that because I do. And for the record, I do love Stelena, too. The whole cast is an epic win and makes the show so incredibly awesome! :)
It's just that nothing can beat Damon/Elena or Ian Somerhalder/Nina Debrov for me. ;D

Here's my tribute to one epic season of Delena love! ♥
First of all, the finale was AWESOME! Not my favourite TVD ever (that's still a tie between 1x14 Delena hug and 1x19 Delena dance ^^) but I seriously hold my breath for 42 mins and at the D/E/K Kiss I almost fanited. ;)
Gah, I tried so hard to keep myself away from all spoilers before watching the episode but I "accidently" read the BIGGEST one before: Katherine, the bitch is back!!! NO! XD
But after 24 hours of being pissed at myself for reading this before and being pissed at the writers for coming up with such a sneaky but genious twist I was okay with it.
Damon kissed Elena and that's all that matters, right?!
Gosh, but this one time he poured his heart out to the girl who gives him his humanity back it turns out to be the girl who took it from him long time ago. Argh, so damn sneaky but genius. XD
And no matter if it was Elena or Katherine it WAS Ian & Nina wtf!!! Hot. Sexy. With incredible chemistry! ;D
And now I even think that I'm glad it wasn't Delena's first kiss I don't want them to cheat on Stefan and I don't want Jenna to catch them.
So to quote Damon himself: "I want(ed) it to be real." ;)
And now we have all summer to dream about how hot and epic and beautiful their REAL first kiss will be. swoon
More randomness:
+ Still don't like Bonnie. This girl's a backstabbing bit...ähm witch. I'm going to kill her if Bamon is ever going to happen.
+ RIP Anna. I liked Jeremy and her together. :(
+ Epic win this season (besides Delena, of course): Damon and Alaric!!! How awesome are these two together?! :D Love love love their hilarious love/hate friendship.
Now ONTO THE VIDEO:

I tried to show their whole story and all the connections with this beeeeautiful song (CB *wink wink*).
To sum it up in one sentence:
Katherine took away any human qualities from Damon while Elena brought them slowly back to him.
She has become his humanity. Aww, these two are epic. ♥
I admit that at first he was seeing Katherine in Elena but
step by step he began to see her for who she is and the difference to Katherine: she cares about him.
Gosh, their build up is the most amazing EVER! :D

after all these years, i still come back to this video because it so powerfully captures all of the things that made TVD truly great in its first couple seasons. the multidimensional character development, the subtleties of dialogue and acting, the natural chemistry and unique understanding between Damon and Elena. it was all so organic with real human moments, emotions, and motivations wrapped in a supernatural world.

First off - Overplaying Damon and Elena both saying 'you did this. This is your fault' was GENIUS. There were scenes and lines in this video that I hadn't ever noticed in similarity to each other, but this video made see it and go 'ah.' Second - Elena told Damon that they had an understanding and while watching this video, I realized that it may be because they were both the human in love with the vampire. Damon is resilient but he is softer with her because he knows how she feels. He gets it

I have to say it's very hard to find a new different colouring for each video that's why I used the same for a few, sometimes in a row. But most of the time it's with a other ship and fandom so I'm quite okay with it. But anyways, I'm happy you like this one. :) And that you are such a big Delena Fan too is even more amazing! ;)

AND THE MOST GENIUS THING IN THIS VIDEO is when you put " You did this. This is your fault " by BOTH Damon and Elena. YOU JUST KILLED ME WITH THAT. You showed SO WELL the understanding that links Damon and Elena together, Damon wasn't interested in any human being at first, but he learned to get to know her, not as a copy of Katherine, but as Elena herself. She's the only one who felt bad for his loss, while everyone else considered him as a monster. They both feel for each other!

4 years later, and I'm here again. There are no words that could describe how I feel about this video. I miss this atmosphere around Delena and TVD in general. They used this song on The Originals (Hayley/Elijah scene) and I instantly jumped on here because this song will forever be a Delena song for me thanks to this video. Ugh, the feels. ♥

When the M83 song came on in the episode of Originals tonight, I immediately thought of this video. I haven't watched in a couple of years, but it has still stuck with me. So I had to come here and have a re-watch and it's still one of my favorites! But I cannot believe the fact that it has been almost four years since I first found it. Reminiscing about the about the season that started it all. Kinda feels like it's come full circle in a way. They finally used the song in one of the shows. Thank you for this incredible video, it's rare that something stays with me for so many years!

i've probably commented on this video a hundred times but here i am, back again. i always seem to come back. it's been 3 years since I first watched this and yet, i still get chills. i still get that familiar ache in my chest. and although in recent seasons i've been turned off by delena, this is still my favorite TVD video. it's become a symbol of what used to be. what made me fall in love with this show, what made me fall in love with their story, what made me fall in love with the editing universe. and because of that, this /masterpiece/ will always be important to me. i will never stop coming back to this video. thank you for making it.
