some people might find it annoying, but I think his very repetative style of explaining where he repeats things over and over again slowly in different ways is extremely helpful in solidifying the concepts. thank you so much andrey k

astonishingly clear explanation. this concept is beyond my highschool course and this is the only thing out of countless videos, websites and textbook chapters that actually helped me understand the topic and what the formulas actually mean (i cannot even explain how helplessly confused i was before i watched this). I don't even think it's a matter of teaching style, it's a matter of objective quality.

thank you for the video! But i have a question! hope you'll see this! For a lightly damped oscillation system, does the frequency of the oscillation decrease over time (i.e. period increase over time) as the oscillation proceeds? or does the frequency of the lightly damped oscillation just remain smaller than the undamped system throughout the oscillation?
@hasnnajm8345
@hasnnajm8345 Жыл бұрын
hello there, idk if u still need it but I think I have some ideas about ur question and tbh it isn't 100% true , but the frequency, especially in damped, depends on the damp ratio which means if this ratio increases the frequency decrease from the undamped frequency. ofc the slightly damped osc has a frequency that is less than undamped still it will descend at a small rate. I hope I benefit u and if there were any mistakes I wish u enlighten me .

Sir, So I cannot use the position formula of my oscillator/spring system starts at displacement zero (equilibrium position). Since at t=0, the x wouldn’t not equal A. If not, is there an equation for which I can?
