@@heytheredemonsitsmeyaboi7772 It's not that, it's just that they don't do videos together. They are still in a relationship (hopefully) but they don't film videos as a duo anymore. Dan's last video was posted a year ago, he is going through a hiatus, figuring out if he wants to continue KZfaq, he still (occasionally) writes on twitter and other platforms though! I don't exactly know if they are in a relationship or not, but Dan did show his love for Phil in his coming out video.

It makes me genuinely sad at how fast time flies. Like, even though the millions of "tHiS hiTs diFfErEnt" comments were annoying, I watched them go from saying 'one day ago' to 'two months ago' and progressively get older and older. Now they all say 'eleven months ago' and in only _one_ more month, they will say... 'one year ago'. A year. A whole year since June 13th and 30th. I can't fathom it and my heart hurts. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk, I'll go cry in a dark corner now.

The thing is, what draws people to them is their chemistry and they’re just taking a little break, even if that break isn’t so little, even if they change, theyll always be dan and Phil, the same Dan and Phil who created this amazing world for us, and Phil is still being amazing, also they live together so they might make a video soon idk but don’t worry, they’ll always be Dan and phil

my favourite thing about it is that even in these tiny clips you can still see dan becoming more and more happy and comfortable with himself over the years. i think somewhere between 2017 and 2018 he pretty much stopped giving a shit about what people think of him and his relationship with phil and just a year later he was open and brave enough to film *the video*. i'm so proud of him

i was never a phannie that believed they were together romantically and hiding it for years, but a huge reason i loved them so much was their deep platonic love for each other and geniune joy in each others company, we would all be so lucky to have something even close to that. i love watching this after the 2023 resurrection, here is to another decade of dan and phil ❤
