Let me explain this to you slowly, so you and others who obviously never attended a civics class, can understand. The US constitution protects the freedom of speech of American citizens from THE US GOVERNMENT! It does not protect an employee from being fired by their PRIVATE EMPLOYER as a consequence of speech that they engaged in that goes against their employers stated rules/brand image/contract requirements, etc. Do you understand or should I use simpler language?

@@merange8552social media platforms limit speech. There is a legal argument there, however, that has been argued in court; are these companies platforms or publishers? Publishers can be sued for the language that's found in their publications. Platforms are a different category. The argument seems to be that if social media companies are curating comments, then that makes them publishers. Time will tell. The real issue here is that the current US has been using its influence on social media companies to limit speech that this administration doesn't like. That's the argument that Ben Shapiro is making in this video and it's a very valid one.
