Dan Carlin... The history teacher of the US! He might not be a historian, he might not always get it right, but he has the greatest gift... He makes people interested in history, and wanting to be better educated... If there is something like that, he is a genuin national treasure!

What's fascinating to me about the 'Prophets of Doom' people is that they had a translated version of the Bible and yet failed to heed Jesus Christ's warning that no man knows when the world will end.

Thanks for posting this! That said, I'm sure a good audio engineer could fix this upload. The audio quality was tolerable until around 37:00, at that point there's some serious feedback or interferance... Thank god I didn't have headphones on... Its really quite bad, no offense, great content, I'm going to hang in for the whole things just because it's a great convo... But surely you have the ability to clean the audio up. Thank you again .

The mic on Dan went out for about 10 minutes at that point. There was nothing we could do without stopping the event, which we decided not to do. The sound quality was impacted, but it has already been engineered to be the best we could manage with the material we had.

Brown Media Institute ill have to take your word on that, I'm not a sound engineering, I'm certainly glad you posted it anyway, its certainly not unwatchable but it does detract... I guess thats just the way it goes, great guest, the talk is going great, decent acting crowd... Time for for Murphy's law! Without knowing the circumstances of the whole thing, I'd like to say it would have been better to take a short break to fix things, but that might not have been feasible for you, or could have yielded poor results. Thanks for the reply!

Its amazing to me that so many people don't recognize a combination of anarchist and racist mobs that identified themselves by name and logo going around city to city burning looting destroying and attacking anyone that disagreed with them as being an insurrection. Even " taking over" some areas for prolonged periods and building fences setting up their own ideology enforcement squads and kicking out anyone that disagreed with them apparently wasnt enough to qualify as an " insurrection" by the media and our politicians, because apparently those groups were " liberal". So those particular radical anti government violent racist hate groups that actually committed very real and demonstrable economic and violent terrorism were given the ok by one side of the political and media institutions to the point of openly saying they were " peacefully" burning down buildings and assaulting/ murdering people. Truly amazing!
