Katherine threatens to punch Jack and when Jack says "give it your best shot!", Katherine actually full on decks him and the two burst into laughter, and the lights go down only to come back up on Davey singing this song Thank you That is all

They need to bring this song back in the stage version, but instead have Davey sing it after Jack tells them to give up at the rally, but make it like he's upset with him. It's also perfect because of how Davey uses facts and how Jack 'lied' to them. And idk I just want it to happen. (You could also change the one line from grabbing his hand to like grabbing his arm so it would make more sense)

This is just proof that Sarah was given more character traits and a better story arc but just wasn't used which is really annoying and sad because, unpopular opinion here: I love Sarah so much and think she deserved better!

Why does this suit Davey more than Sarah? Imagine Davey singing this after the rally, and instead of Jack and Katherine singing something to believe Katherine just tells Jack about the children's crusade and then sends Jack to get Davey and him and Jack sing something to believe in and basically makes Javid canon.

I think this song would be perfect for Katherine! They need to add it into a revival or something, cause it is a very strong number. I mean, think about it! Put it in there maybe while Katherine's on the rooftop after the rally, right before "Something to Believe In", and it's her singing about how heartbroken she is that Jack would turn on the boys for money. The boys he had been protecting, and looking out for. It shows a lot of emotion and heartbreak. I am trying desperately to memorize this song, because it is beautiful!

I am still bitter that they gave us Katherine instead of Sarah. Sarah and Jack’s relationship made so much more sense. Also, Sarah would have been such an interesting character. A Jewish immigrant in the 19th century? Yes, please! I would’ve loved is Sarah was in the musical, as the love interest still because I want her to sing this song about Jack, but also have Kath in it as you know the reporter friend. And maybe even Denton could be in it because it was such a good father figure to the Newsies. Now watch as everybody hates me for saying this. XD
