It Can Never Top 🎩 the Original Night 🌉 Court But it has heart ❤️ and nostalgia

To all of you saying it isn't as good as the original. It's NOT the original. NOW is NOT Then. Comedy has changed in the last 30 years. This is a new show that pays homage to the original while doing It's own thing.

It has that vibe the original had. It works. I'm glad they brought these shows back. I wish Harry had lived so he could be back in the show, Bull would have been great, but the new cast has it. The writers are similar to the originals too. I like it. If they put a couple more of the originals full time I think it would be even better.

I am biased, because I have been working with the series Director on something myself. But, I think what makes this show work is the heart is still there. Even when Dan was terrible in the original series, he always had that redeeming something that made him do the right thing. And you can see that in these scenes too. It really makes me miss the people we've lost from the old show. But it is a good kind of pain that reminds you they will always exist.

I absolutely loved the original series.

Dan and Roz are the surviving members of the original night court. I hope they do something for Richard Moll.

I can’t understand why Dan is now defending. He was best prosecuting. His acerbic and sarcastic wit is what made him so much fun. I wonder if Bob and June Wheeler will appear ever again. I can imagine them as OAPs doing something equally madcap and dumb despite old age

This is good. Glad they got a new clerk and they need a new bailiff. Dan Dan Fielding is still hysterical and Melissa Rauch is good. Olivia grows on the viewers.

The premise of this show makes me avoid it. Dan should be the judge and Abby the young hotshot attorney. It would be funny if she was basically a young him.

I’m happy with this. Not the same, but good actors and some old faces.

Oddly enough, the show has followed the exact same path as the original show in that the first two seasons saw casting changes, until the magical 3 season arrived. After that, Night Court was off to the races. Makes me curious if the new show's 3rd season will hit its stride the same way.

Harry Anderson died too young. He had a way about his acting, and I miss seeing it.

I hope they keep Melissa for the judge. She did a great job....if she brought a Bernadette twist.

I have only seen highlights, i got to say i dig the new version, but it does not beat the original.

Judge's mom is an actress that came out on soap opera General Hospital as nurse Any. My mom used to make me watch the show. I loved it. Spending time with my mother. 30 years or more, I reflect on the shows.

They're not trying to match the original you pessimistic putts. They're just trying to make people smile and laugh and if you didn't then you're just miserable and you will complain about everything. Seems like a you problem.

Mellisa rauch spends a bit too much time playing to the audience and not to the other characters in the scene.

I don’t understand all the bad comments quite frankly I like the show I still like the original better. But this is funny and I like how they referred to things from the old show. I love, Dan Fielding, but I still think it’s better than a lot of the crap on TV, and I don’t feel like they are trying to push some kind of stupid agenda

On BBT I never realized how short she is.

The only "best moments of Night Court" are from the original show...when it was actually funny.

The problem is that it’s unwatchable. I love the idea, some of the Melissa Rauch/John Laraquette scenes are really good.. I’ve had the show recorded and have never wanted to actually watch it. I like the Abby and Dan characters but it’s just not pulling me in to sit down and watch it. The show would be a lot more interesting if Abby and Dan set up a law practice together and the focus was on them alone.

The original series Very Very Very Good. But the new series really misses. I'm not sure whether it's the timing or that the "jokes" just suck. I loved the old cast and "Dan" still hits his lines but the rest of the cast SUCKS.

this is soooo, bad..... thank god Dans there.. do yourself a favor and watch not PC real nightcourt, its actualy funny as hell. Unlike this. Woke ness ruins comedy.

Like Fraiser, Night Court should not have been revamped ,the originals were gems, where the re-boots, are merely whispers of past successes. The character of Dan Fielding played so brilliantly by John Laraquet ( sorry about the spelling) in the old show has lost his bite ,he now aspires to the un-funny bearded philosopher. Gone is the wit ,and sharp tongue of the prosecutor, countered by Judge Stones, quiet retort ,and the defense attorney 's oh well I give up opinions. The daughter of Judge Stone as the referee in this debacle, just doesn't have the vibes to pull this show together. Poor Dan is always trying to pull her irons out of the fire. My advise is let this reboot ," go quietly into that good night " Stop brushing the dust off the past, and try something new ,alas these writers today just donot have any imagination nor the talent to write from the hip a situation comedy that works.

who ever watered down dan should be fired & never be allowed to work in tv again where is the sex craved dan we all wanted no -_- way i could watch water down family friendly dan nope. the 80s dan for the win.
