He didn't come right out of jail and get the opportunity for the fox job because he's white. He earned his way by his actions after his prison time. As you mentioned, he owned up to his mistakes, shined a light on gambling addiction and helping others with the addiction. Craig was #1 in the morning show, #1 in the afternoon after the station fell behind Michael Kay's show. So those reasons are why he got the opportunity with Fox. Many other non-white people in other industries have gotten an opportunity after their wrong doings. You're just using race to create controversy and to get your show in the news. Congratulations it worked. You're not the first one to use race to get ahead and won't be the last. But in your opinion, what else would Craig have to do to earn that opportunity. Rosenberg is an idiot. Craig has to repay his debts and repair his marriage, so the opportunity to making more money to repay those debts and have more time with his family to repair what he's done seems like a no brainer to me. On top of that, Craig's still doing his Hello my name is Craig show on the station which not only helps the station but people with gambling addictions and the families that are affected by it

When asked by the radio show host whether he realized that his remarks were homophobic, Hardaway responded by saying: "Well, you know I hate g*y people, so I let it be known. I don't like g*y people and I don't like to be around g*y people. I am homophobic. I don't like it. It shouldn't be in the world or in the United States." He also said that if he found out he had one or more g*y teammates, he would try to get them fired.

From what I can tell from googling the dude, he got real good radio ratings throughout his career. It’s not the hardest job in the world, and a lot depends on whether networks invest in promotion of your career, but I think interchangeable is overstating it.
