they're very standard questions so even if he hadn't seen the qs beforehand, he'd answered the same qs in other situations one way or another

Dan has been a hero of mine for a little while both personally and professionally. His answers to “biggest regret” and “motto” made me pause because they’re such brilliant answers and ones that I definitely relate to but wouldn’t have had the intelligence to think of them or articulate them the way he did. This video just shows why he’s the greatest.

I find his answers super relatable. The one about him being a teen....I seriously feel the same way. I look back now and I had so much potential that I wasted because I thought I wasn't good enough.

Oh my god, I so related to the answer of “thinking I have all the answers” and the he explains it later as offering unsolicited advice. I’m thinking, ha ha, that’s me! Then he said, “I’m a Leo” and I was “crap... me too”.

I love every single one of those answers. I think Dan is my new hero. He is such a beautiful soul. Now I just pray that he never has a scandal like every other hero I've ever had that disappointed me. So for now Fred Rogers and Dan Levy are goat.

Q: What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Dan: Self-obsession. That was my favorite answer he gave because it is absolutely true. I've found that the people who are completely into themselves and/or constantly draw attention to themselves are the ones that are the most miserable. I've seen it time and time again, and it's really sad. I wish the interviewer had asked him to expand on that bc I would have loved to hear him elaborate on it. Ah well.
