He literally pays for his own airplane tickets and insists on low-budget hotel rooms, no fancy suites for him. Just try to find a place online to donate money to him. You can't! This verse refers to anyone who is doing the work of Christ and is attacked by someone or something. This does not apply to preachers or anyone who just attempt to handle snakes or drink poison on purpose.
