I was born & raised in Charlotte...still live here to this day and I’d say I’m one of the most diehard lifelong Panthers fan on earth. My father bought 2 PSLs in 1995 as soon as the stadium was built. We have those same two seats to this day...20 yard line behind the Panther bench, just 14 rows from the field. Some of the best seats in the house. I’ve made every single home game I possibly could since 1995 and know more panther trivia than 99% of other fans. Dan Morgan was my favorite player while he was with us for those 7 seasons...even still he’s in my top 5 fav panthers of all time. That’s how good he was. The sad thing is that injuries & multiple serious concussions robbed him of playing time and longevity. He missed a lot of games during his time with us. Not his fault, just unlucky at times and he played and hit so hard he’d just run his Face into people. That’s just how he played and that’s what I loved about him...he was talented and fearless. He has a ton of similarities with Luke keuchly. Both were superstars at their individual colleges...both were 1st round Panther draft pics...both Made a pro bowl & an all pro team within their first 3 seasons...both led the team in tackles for multiple seasons...both were team captains...and both played in a Super Bowl (Dan Morgan actually still has the NFL record for most combined tackles in a SB with 18)...and both retired at age 28 after getting tired of constant concussions, injuries, surgeries & rehab. Keuchly was able to stay healthier Than Morgan though, and he played in many more games allowing him to rack up so many amazing stats. But both John Fox & Marty Hurney said if it wasn’t for all those unlucky breaks...Morgan could have made 5-6 more pro bowls and been a hall of famer just like Luke will eventually be one day.

I'm from Salisbury. My dad also has the same 4 PSL, silver club, Section 342, 20 yard line tickets since 95'. Ericsson stadium baby. I read the entirety of your message and I can't agree with you more. Keep Pounding brother! Maybe catch you at a game next season

Same downfall as guys like Bo Jackson... poor guy had a glass skeleton. Had he been able to stay consistently healthy, he would still be playing at a pro bowl level, or recently retired, waiting for HOF eligibility.
