Tony Hawk seemed like he wasn’t too mean about it, he was just sharing an anecdote about a really bad skating fail, but the other two guys started really ripping into both of them. I’m glad Tony didn’t just join them in ripping into Dan because there’s laughing at a guy failing and then there’s insulting the guy. Dan knew he wasn’t gonna do the trick but he wanted to try something new and I admire the guts that takes to try something like that.

@@Collserra3 Well, jokes vary. One can make jokes as light as pulling somebodies leg about something really lighthearted. Jokes can be harsh or a bit rude, but still aim to make a smart or funny observation, they have a punchline. Jokes that are too offensive or are 'too targeting/judging/rude' are usually kept between friends. Making such jokes on either people you don't know, or with malicious intent, is generally tasteless. Talking shit is pretty much that, making derogatory comments or being rude to somebody based on either prejudice or personal reasons, that can be anything from not liking somebody to self defence and psychological issues.

They clearly didn't know who the Slow Mo guys are and that they have 14.2M+ subscribers I hope they took a few minutes and got to see what we so enjoy

They're actually very funny. Maybe getting annoyed at joking insults directed at someone else shows how fragile you are.

they come off as assholes in this clip, but theo is hilarious he talks like that about anyone. it's kind of his stule of comedy

@@BonesWasTaken11 If that's the case then all I can say it that I don't enjoy his performance. I didn't find it funny and the just came off as an asshole. There are many examples of comedians making fun of others in a fun and lighthearted way, but this was not an example of that.
@BonesWasTaken112 жыл бұрын
@jangxx that's fair, people have different tastes in comedy, but it's also kind of out of context. hard to tell how funny a comedian is from a random podcast clip.

As far as I'm concerned- Dan went up there, and did a brave thing. He had ONE shot to do something he'd never get to do again, and he grabbed it. As someone who *has* blown it majorly that way (we're talking mind boggling hesitation), So what if he did come down like that? Ya can't soar till you've crashed. How many bones has Hawk broken? Screw the physicality. You decided to go for it.
