I agree with you and, how dumb do u have to be? not only is that so rude but so untrue. dan co-produces basically everything they do, and he writes/ co-writes all of their songs as well. they both realize they need each other to succeed, and it works. even tho shay sings much more than dan in all their songs, shay needs dan and realizes this. the songs wouldn’t be nearly as good if they didn’t have dan and not to mention hits like these wouldn’t exist for shay to sing without dan writing them.

Prolly sad, but this performance was literally the first time I have ever heard these guys.What you said is absolutely right. I was at work and the t.v's at the bar, and surround had the Grammys blasting all night.My over the top flamboyantly gay manager loves all awards shows and does this for every one, even non music shows,like Oscars. Anyway, I usually just grin and bear it,and do my job. But this song just caught me totally off guard.The sound, the lyrics..I literally stopped what I was doing and went back in time to my time with one ex in particular, who I haven't even thought of in quite a while. I was with her again for a minute and by the end of the song and that final note, I literally had to get off the floor and go out back, cuz I had tears in my eyes. Like tears streaming down my face.lol. I had to comp drinks cuz I had to just chill out back and recalibrate.Then splash water on my face,etc. It is just one of those songs that grabbed hold of me and took me back to very specific memories and times. And it's not like I even considered reaching out to my ex or calling her. Us being together didn't work. But, just being back in those moments because of this song, just for a minute or two was beautiful and bittersweet. It reminds you of something very special that you once had, just a perfect moment in time that you can both look back on in moments like these, and smile..and feel. Music is such a gift, that I often kinda'take for granted. But when it gets you, it can make you feel anything!
