I use the same kind of strings that Dan uses. I love them. They're the only string that I have ever used that don't go dead every 2 weeks. I don't think I'll use anything else again

I use Elixir strings on my basses. They're great. I got my first set in the mid-nineties, they sent me a free set to try. I've been using them ever since.

Dan said it perfect. I put the Elixirs on my guitar and just knew I would never use anything else.

You should try Martin SP coated, they are better. Elixirs are very well, but have no specific sound, no soul.

I kill strings; my body chemistry assures it. I love Ernie Ball Aluminum core and Martin Retros, but Elixir is the brightest for the longest time, and now they're about all I use on my two Martins. They seem to last forever!

I was sceptical at first but when I tried Elixirs I said wow, are they THIS good? I have not looked back ever since.

Everybody knows elixir strings are mediocre and way overpriced.
